I'm a big fan of a lot of lemonade flavours, great in summer, something I can toke all day, and plain-ish lemonade is great for cleaning the flavour out of a tank as it blends well with most fruits (not custards, creams, etc obv).
I've tried a lot and the best raspberry to my mind, is the Loranna concentrate. Very strong and sweet, not subtle or realistic, but a great vibrant synthetic flavour. I'm planning on mixing it with Pink Lemonade from Chef's Vapour's Rebranded Range - it's a UK site, but they rebrand a lot of other manufacturers concentrates under this name. I've not worked out who's original flavour it is, though I'm fairly sure it's not the rubbishy weak Flavor West one. The pink element isn't very noticable, it's mostly a lemonade taste with a bit of sweetness.
My question is this, what % should I mix the Raspberry (LA) and Pink Lemonade (RBR) at? My first thought would be to do a 50/50 mix, 8% or 10% each, but I'm not sure. I'm very new to Lorann flavours and can see me getting heavily into them but I haven't worked out any % ratios yet. If anyone can advice I'd be very grateful. Also if I should add sweetener or LA Cotton Candy.
(If anyone's tried the Raspberry Lemonade by Pink Spot, that's something I'm after but with a better lemonade taste. PS use Lorann as the base for many of their flavours and I'm certain Raspberry LA is the one used in this.)
This one is pretty popular with my clients.
FE - Lemon 4%
TFA - Strawberry 5%
TFA - Raspberry 1%
TFA - Sweet Cream 1%
FA -1drop Bergamot per 10ml -
The strawberry acts as a base for the raspberry, which is super potent from TFA, to sit on and have some more body with out adding so much it taste medicinal. The sweet cream is in there for mouth feel and fullness but we still dont know if its a final addition. Searching for different creams atm.
Someone give this a toot and review if for us and maybe this will help you.
I have all of these and definitely wouldn't mind throwing them together for a sample. How long do you usually suggest steeping with the cream in the recipe?
Its good to go after a mixing till frothy. It gets better after a day or two tho. Its not there to be overly creamy its just there to balance the tart citrus and raspberry.
I mixed this up a couple of weeks ago with two small tweaks - no bergamot, and I used TFA Lemon and 1% TFA marshmallow instead of sweet cream.
I love it! Came into its own really nicely, was vapeable and enjoyable after a couple of days and after a couple of weeks it's delicious! I've had other people comment that they'd love a bottle :). Thanks for the recipe /u/clint404 !
I'd try about 7% Pink Lemonade, and 3-4% Raspberry to start with, and adjust from there.
Have you done much mixing with Lorann? That blend makes sense as the Raspberry smells so strong it could overpower the whole thing at a 50-50 ratio. I think I'll try 10% Pink Lemonade and 5% Raspberry, as I like my flavours strong.
I've used a few of theirs. They tend to be a bit stronger than I care for. I'm a TFA/CAP fan. :)
I really like using FW Pink Lemonade as a Lemonade base.
What have you mixed it with? I have a bottle of FW lemonade concentrate that's just going to waste so might try it out. I found it quite flat and tasteless compared to the RBR version though.
Just a tiny bit of FE Lemon and maybe some citric acid. It is pretty good straight at around 10%, but I like ejuice with a lot of flavour so 10% may be a little high.
