Who uses berry crunch from tfa?
submitted about 10 years ago by dropped9

Who here uses berry crunch? Any reason why this would burn your throat on exhale? Coil is fine, different ratios doesn't matter. What gives? It used to vape fine.

Need a little more info. Are you using it as a single flavor recipe? If so, at what percent? If not, what recipe are you using it in? Is your nicotine old/bad? etc.

Any recipe, any percentage, any nicotine.

I've used berry crunch a decent amount. I have noticed the increased throat hit, but nothing like a burnt hit on the exhale.

Maybe you need a cream or something like that to make the flavor less harsh? I have a recipe (froot loops) that's been working very well for me. I'll post it if you want.

I find any juice will burn my thought if my tank is low. Not like my coil is dry, but If I have less than a quarter of a tank of juice.

Could be a different mix of pg/vg?

That's strange. At first I thought it may have Ethyl Alcohol in it but according to TFA's website it doesn't. You said the strength you use doesn't help? When you say it used to vape fine was it the same mixture or a different one? If it's the same, it could be that with steeping, it's increased in strength and is now too strong.

Same mixture.

The only thing I can recommend is leaving the cap off for a few hours/overnight. Beyond that, try using less flavoring if you mix another batch up.

I think the mix has changed. The first bottle I got was wonderfully smooth when mixed.

Now I get a hard throat hit when I mix it; from 5% all the way up to 15% it is the same.

I'm not sure what it is, but it does get worse with age.

Exactly.

I will say, if you vape it long enough in one sitting the burn stops and you start to taste it.

I haven't had any issues with it bothering my throat, but it does make all my mixes with it taste like grass, which is pretty frustrating.

Don't think so. I've always done max vg

I use about 10% Berry Crunch and add 2% Vanilla Bean and 2% Vanilla Cupcake with 2-3% Bavarian cream. I've noticed a pretty stout throat hit when i use above 15% straight berry crunch, so maybe try using less Berry Crunch and putting in a couple of other flavors in there as well.
