Why must it be so hard to shop for Flavorings?
submitted about 10 years ago by vapingrammyOne of "The Damned"

Every time I need to order flavor so end up shopping from at least 3 different places. I found everything I needed but apple jacks at 1 place. So that's 2 shipping fees. This gets so frustrating. Rant over.

First world problems for sure.

Lol well that puts into perspective!

I just try to keep the perspective that even having to order from different sources and pay separate shipping costs is still way cheaper than actually buying juice. I vape about 15 mil day, so even if I ordered new flavorings every week from different vendors, I'm still coming in way below what I would be paying if I bought juice from the store.

You're right, I was hot and crabby when I posted that. Lol

BCV seems to have restocked on alot of stuff today. Got my 30ml of FA Pear, FA Marshmallow, TFA Vanilla Swirl, FW Tres Leches.

They also have 30ml of Apple J Cereal by FW, and Inawera Biscuit in stock.

I guess I'll have to order 30mls of apple jacks. That's gonna make a lot of juice! Lol

Not that much when your buddy wants you to make a 20% recipe he found on the internet. Reddit=internet

Oh I hope so. That would be awesome.

More than likely the flavors you're shopping for are popular/well-liked. It's kind of a sign that the flavors are good. If they were in stock everywhere, it means that no one is buying them. Frustrating though, I know.

Yeah but not life threatening, I think I was just hot and bitchy when I made that post. Texas summer is getting to me!

I couldn't live in Texas. Too hot and don't like the wildlife. (scorpions, huge bugs, etc)

It is not for the faint of heart, I ask myself every summer, how did I end up here? I'm just not cutout for it.

ECX usually has everything I need, they could use a few more TFA flavors in their line up but TGA's shipping is pretty cheap and ECXs is usually free for me.

They were even missing a few things. Maybe I need to wait a day or so for them to restock.

Trouble is that if you wait, some of what is now in stock will be out of stock. I'm hoping Gremlins does this right when they get their DIY shop up and running.

Lol that's just what someone else said. It looks like there is a real need in the community.

I was going to post about "shipping fees" and why they are more than they should be for small orders .

Vendors , lower your shipping fee's , it shouldn't cost $4.00 for sending it to an address only three hours away , we are talking one or two small bottles.

It's the shipping fee's that keep me from ordering on a regular basis , BCV had a bottle of something i needed , price was around $10.00 but after shipping it was $17.00 and change.

I know, that's why I'm so hesitant to order from 3 companies at a time. A juice company just charged 6.95 to ship one bottle of juice. They aren't charging us actual postage I think.

Yeah , the shipping really hurts .

Of course they aren't charging you actual postage, there are handling costs as well.

I think I know who you're talking about for priority mail and they are just silly. Should be under $6.00.

what exactly is considered handling? I've never quite figured that out.

Shouldn't but it does...

Bubble envelopes in bulk run about $0.25-30 each. Label the package, there's another $0.05-$0.10. Any extra packing material on top of that...Add in USPS First Class Package rate (cheapest option for this stuff) and that's another $2.00 just to ship a 15ml plastic bottle. Add in losses from USPS in there and $3.50-4.00 is about right.

I charge $3.00 flat rate on anyone that pays shipping as of a week or so ago.

Shipping costs can kill a company's bottom line if they aren't designed appropriately.

There are a lot of vendors that ship for $1.99 or under , just not the juice companies. I have bought many items that are larger than juice bottles for cheap shipping , 101 vape ships most anything from Calif for $2.00.

Possibly they are building some shipping cost into the cost of the product? The Gremlins start at a $3 base shipping for anything under 16oz (final shipping weight) and that really does cover the "actual" shipping plus packaging. There are a lot of times what you pay for shipping is less than what it costs. :) But it has always averaged out. If you ever order (or have ordered) from Gremlin Juice and are curious, feel free to ask, I'll tell you exactly what your package cost to ship. (Those records go back a LONG time)

I keep a running tally of what I need and try to order a huge amount at once , that way im not wasting 5 bucks on shipping for one flavor.

Bullcity vapers

Yes I use them, they were just out of a few things I needed.

Have you tried Bull City Vapor? They generally have what I need in house.

Not sure what flavours you're ordering; BCV is consistently out of random flavours. I have not once made an order that included all the flavours I wanted. That said, their shipping is awesome.

Eh, they always seem to have what I'm looking for - mostly desert flavors.

Sand, aloe, snakeskin, Bantha stick.

BCV is always out of at least half of my shopping list.

Yes, they were out of 10 mls of Apple jacks so I'll probably have to get 30 or wait.
