Hey guys. by now I wouldn't be surprised if the majority of you don't know me or forgot me etc. but for those of you who were following my work and tips etc. I am sorry that i basically became a hermit crab. for months now i have mainly just lurked.
I basically have a seasonal job and over the summer i become VERY busy. I work 10-14 hour shifts every day except Sunday and some Saturdays. working hard trying to get my funding for my dreams. we can probably guess what that is.
So a personal update of what I'm up to right now if anyone is interested, is I'm getting things set up to make a small (not too small lol) clean room this winter. ISO 8 clean room also known as grade 100,000 Clean room where i will further pursue my personal studies and creations as i like to call them.
Still mixing but almost only on Sunday. not mixing as much has given me time to write a lot of ideas and do theory crafting though so that's good. so yeah guys, basically just really busy.
If you have any questions i will reply if you Comment here and tag my name or if you PM i will always answer. just wanted to share why i disappeared.
Like I said, any questions about mixing, flavors, Nicotine, cleanrooms etc i still answer as best i can if you PM me. If nobody knows who I am any more and doesn't give a hoot squat than just move this post or something idk xD LOL.
P.S I you will see me more over the winter...trust me.
Edit: I will be picking back up my TTT series over the winter if anyone is interested. thanks.
You are the drunk guy right?
Good luck with your endeavours!
LMAO. that was one time. XD. there is another user who does drunk stuff more frequently, his name slips my mind unfortunately. but yeah...good times.
Thaaaaaat would be /u/the_perrycox.
Nice to see you back buddy! :)
well back...esh. LOL. still working a lot. will be active over winter. always nice seeing you around bud.
Yeah, I admit, I've been mostly lurking lately too. I haven't had much time to work on my juices. Tho I did make a clone of a frosted flake juice by Aisle 7 before they even made it. lol
Are you building the clean room yourself? That sounds like a hell of a project with tons and tons of money involved...that's awesome man if you're able to do so. What is the difference between iso 7 and 8? Good Luck buddy!
I am building it myself...but not by myself per say. working with a company in Cali that specializes in clean rooms. they do all the math, will send out all the stuff and assemble it if i want them too. but i can set it up myself so i just need them to send me the stuff. the difference between iso 7 and iso 8 is the same difference between every clean room. it's basically the particle count in the room. Iso 8 is no more than 100,000 particles while 7 is 10,000.
along with the cleaning schedules and mandatory maintenance and monitoring that the ISO certifications require.
edit: for reference the average particle count in a regular office room is about 1 million particles .5 microns or larger. (for a reference to .5 microns, the human hair is about 75-100 microns in diameter, meaning .5 micron particles are about 200 times smaller than the width of one of your hair follicles).
What company in California are you working with?
I'm working with American Cleanroom Systems some pretty helpful and knowledgeable fellas there.
Curious person here but what's the point of a iso7 clean room when the bottles come dirty and the raw materials(flavorings/pg/vg) weren't manufactured in a clean room? Also when a person opens the bottle repeatedly, doesn't that negate the process?
Can a Air purifier with permanent HEPA filters be use on a clean room?
yeah it would be allowed in a clean room but most likely won't make it a clean room. when i say most likely I'm 90%+ sure it won't.
clean rooms are designed with a big fan usually that really gets the air in the room flowing pretty strong every so often depending on how its set up.
Will those are purifier work? let's say you don't need a ISO certified clean room, does the air purifier with HEPA filter atleast filter out some dust and other particles?
