this is kind-of an update, to a variation on /u/crosstown_rebel's lemon pound cake recipe
now, for starters i love lemon vapes in general and before i started DIY. one of my ADV's was CRFT-citron from their black line. in my humble opinion i would almost consider this recipe a clone. I didn't have any CAP vanilla custard, for his original so i went with FA custard cream and FW whipped cream in place of it to see what would happen and 'Guuuurrrllll ive been vaping this shit all day. i just made another 30ml of it and i have some new flavors coming that might help add a vanilla note that i think its missing. also the lemon is a tad too strong, but ive learned that FA lemon sicily chills out after a week or so, so i would say it needs a 5-7day steep.
I'm trying to hold off buying more flavorings right now, but is there a decent substitute for INW biscuit I could use?
fa cookie isnt really a sub but the closest you can get. just dont use too much as it can overcookie.
Hey spaceghost, I'm glad to see you dive in head first! I keep forgetting about pound cake. I might just have to whip up one of these real soon to see what I've been missing. I tried one from a vendor that I won't name because while it was pretty good, it had way too much sucralose/sweetener in it. I sorta forgot all about it since then. Traumatized. Your variation and the others don't even use sweetener though. Great.
I mixed his version with 5% yellow cake, 2% FA Custard, and 3% Cap Juicy Lemon cuz I didn't have the Sicily. Oh, and added some Billberry. Vaped in it all day yesterday ;D
I've been trying to get a good Lemon Cake recipe and I think what you've done has helped me nail it. I'm really really sensitive to any ejuice with lemon in it so I've dramatically decreased all lemon flavoring. There's only a hint of it in this version I've done but I'm in love.
Thank you!
