First time DIY a success! Thanks DIY!
submitted about 10 years ago by Failure_is_imminent

I found my ADV with Cuttwood Monster Melons, which is weird because I don't like any of the fruit it contains. I also got a new subox kit and was blowing through 30ml every 2 days. Recipe was stupid easy and I just mixed up equal parts of cantaloupe, mango, and papaya all from TFA for my flavorings @ 15%, and did it at a 70/30 mix. It was SPOT on, maybe without a bit of sweetener, but friggin' amazing, even as a make-n-vape. Got another 200ml steeping now to try out later.

Next up a MBYC clone! Thanks again /r/DIY_ejuice

2% marshmallow with it is pretty good too.

I'm a noobie but I keep seeing people say "add some marshmallow!" on like every type of flavor. What's so good about it/what does it add? Doing my first flavor order soon.

Buy some marshmallow and find out! It changes the feel more than the flavor.

What I've experienced with it, it's a filler. Like, when you're adding fruit flavors together that marshmallow is what brings it together. It's hard to explain it in my opinion. That, and I've noticed that it can dull some sharp flavors.

Does the marshmallow keep it from being a mix-and-vape flavor?

Not that I've experienced.

Mix this up, papaya is too strong, overpowering everything. For me, papaya smells like baby's poo.

It's so good! Another one like it is Mr. Miyagi by Alpha Vape, but it has a plum flavor. It's also on my to-do list.

This was my ADV a while ago and also one of the reasons why I got into DIY.

Congrats! I'm a newbie at all this as well. I had mixed up a simple TFA vanilla custard / Bavarian Cream a couple weeks ago and after a week steep I tried it and didnt like it much (great smell but no mouth flavor just a very hint on the exhale), but just last night (3rd week steep) I tried it again and it's absolute bliss :D I actually like it more than any flavor I've tried! I'm gonna mix up a lot more of it tonight :D

Recipe for anyone interested (for 10ml):

  • 13% TFA Custard
  • 6 drops TFA Bavarian Cream
