So i wanted to do something with FA's new flavour Joy and found that it worked really well with some of the bakery in this recipe. It was inspired by Hic's lemon pie but i wasn't digging the lemon so now it kinda transformed into something else. It is an apple-pie-ish juice but im not really in to that cinnamon flavour, so here Joy helps as a good alternative as it isn't cinnamon but still in the same spicey category. It also rounds up the overall bakery and prolounges the flavours on the exhale. So here goes..
nJoyApple:
Fuji Apple 4%
Custard 2%
Meringue 1%
Apple Pie 1%
Joy 0.75 %
Cookie 0.5 %
Hazelnut 0.5%
Vienna cream 0.5%
Fresh creme 0.5%
All FA flavours
This mix i recommend at least 4-5 days steep time for the Joy to blend in with the flavours and also the apple will need to fade a bit as it is real sweet the first couple of days.
You can also do this recipe as a shake'n'vape but then i would leave out the Joy and cut the apple down to 2%
Other than that this is a really tasty full rounded recipe.. Play with the percentages to your liking and nJoyApple :p

I haven't been mixing long and do not have Joy. I've heard that Joy adds a "cotton candy / funnel cake " flavor or somewhere in between.
I haven't been able to find Joy. Would I need to sub something else like more cookie / pie crust / AP(Acetyl)?
Joy does have a very distinct flavour but as said you can do without. The recipe is more of an example on how you can give those bakery notes a twist with joy.. First i took out the meringue for joy but found that they work fine together, so if you cant get joy, merengue will still give you the sweetnes needed for this recipe, just not as spicey
I get funnel cake but no cotton candy. Not sure where that came from or maybe I just can't taste it. I will say that it provides a "fullness" that people have called "mouth feel" so maybe that's what they mean? I'm not sure... But I think it can be good in many different flavor mixtures. I don't care for it by itself. It's kind of bland.
Looks good, I'm really liking Joy at the moment so would love to try this out but I'm missing Hazelnut - any recommendations for an alternative?
