Importing data from HotRod19579's Recipe Calculator to E-Liquid-Recipes

Paging /u/daath!

Has anyone tried automating this? I haven't seen any mention of such a feature so I assume I'd have to tackle it myself. It doesn't look like it would too difficult to accomplish in a standalone script, just grab my authorization cookie and figure out where the API endpoints are through Chrome's dev tools (http://e-liquid-recipes.com/stash/addFlavor?id=x, etc), but if there's documentation for the API anywhere or if something similar already exists, I'd be more than happy not to reinvent the wheel.

If Daath would be willing to let me take a crack at the actual source code I could probably implement it as a real feature for the site so others can use it.

I'm going to do an export feature from ELR. The import will take some more work - especially when I put the new flavor naming scheme into place - the import will then require you to match whatever flavors are in your recipe to those flavors that are in ELR (if it can't match them automatically)...

The current API is purely internal - and it will be changed in the future, to accommodate the changes in the flavor naming scheme. I design the new API to be "public" - but that's a bit further into the future :)

Thanks for replying /u/daath, have you considered putting up the code for the site on Github so others can contribute? I'm sure there's a fair few developers in the vaping community that would love to help out in some way!

Briefly - For now it will remain closed source though :) In the future ...who knows :)

The idea of this application is awesome. But I can't figure the damn thing out! It won't let me add ingredients. I know I'm doing something wrong but I don't know what. If someone could give me a rundown of how it works that would be so helpful. Or point me to a video.
