I can't get enough of the Milk. Two ingredients at a perfect ratio that taste great fresh or after a long steep... how can you go wrong?
Anyways, I'm on the hunt for variety. My custards are good... not great anymore after my newly acquired taste. I like nana cream but it is a bit too harsh for me... even without citric. I am thinking of reducing it all by 20% or so because the base flavor is great.
Blueberry Yum Yum posted back in Jan. Or Feb. Was great. I had made it several times but I ended up running out of CAP cupcake and replaced it with TFA as intended. Now it just doesn't hit the spot anymore.
Did I become too accustomed to one flavor? Has my brain associated the pleasure of Nicotine with this one recipe and therefore makes it taste better than others? I've never heard this theory before but it makes sense.
TLDR:
MM FANS, what else do you enjoy?
Does vaping one flavor exclusively for a long time period cause other flavors to be less satiating?? Does your brain associate a flavor profile and nicotine pleasure, taking away from the enjoyment of others?
Can't have Mustard without Ketchup
Ketchup Milk - Simple Blueberries and Cream

I've been playing around with a blueberry variant of MM as well. I haven't gotten to FW yet, but keeping the same percentages with TFA Blueberry Wild yielded a kind of weak juice. I had another sample of a mix that subbed in TFA Cherry Blossom for the fruit, and it was weak as well, so I tossed them together and now have a faintly berryish, lightly floral and barely sweetened ice cream base. It's not bad, but it seems like it's still something to build off of rather than vape as is.
Looks like I'll be picking up FW Blueberry with my next order.
I've always avoided TFA Strawberry as it was commonly said to be inferior to ripe, sweet, etc. Thanks to Dr. Fizz, that rumor was squashed =)
That being said, it is a tangy strong flavor. So using an FA version of Blueberry probably would be best due to needing less pg to flavor it, instead of TFA's equivalent.
There's no blueberry quite as powerful as TFA Strawberry but FW's Blueberry gives us our best shot. I agree that Blueberry Wild, extra, etc are all pretty weak. FLV Blueberry is actually good too but I didn't use that since I imagine most people don't have it
I have it. The last percentage I used it at was 4% in a sample and it tasted oddly like a lip balm flavor to me. I may have used it at the wrong percentage, or maybe it needs a bit of CA or sweetener. Still not sure about that one. Other people seem to love it and I'm still trying to get there. It makes a phenomenal iced coffee, though.
I made mustards milk and it tasted like pepper to me :/
Could be the Vanilla Bean Ice Cream. I just updated my thread concerning the black pepper smell/taste with VBIC. Check it if you are curious!
Ugh, your edit didn't make me very happy haha. I wonder if it's an individual thing..I'll see if i can find a batch number on my bottle when i get home
Probably the result of your lowest quality ingredient. Perhaps one of your flavors or nic has degraded. Usually it's nicotine but I have a bottle of Strawberries & Cream from Capella that tastes like Strawberry & Pepper
I initially thought nicotine but all my other juices are fine. I think its the vbic
Nic and VBIC usually get blamed first, but for me it's the strawberry. Doesn't matter which variety. They all have a slight peppery wang in every juice I try.
It's a bummer that flavors can vary. I've had TFA flavors that taste different... from 8ml WL to 4 oz TFA directly.
Fortunately VBIC was not one for me. I've vaped over 1500 ml of MM now and have a 16 oz bottle of strawberry and vbic on the way. Crossing my fingers!
I know this isn't what your here for but would you mind sharing the blueberry yum yum recipe?
Blueberry Yum Yum
Vanilla Bean Ice Cream (TFA) @ 7%

substitute tfa for Cap cupcake. Imo it's far superior.
Not OP but I'm pretty sure it was posted in a monthly recipe thread. I'd just search this sub for blueberry yum yum. It was a solid recipe for sure.
btw this is all that comes up for me when I search for blueberry yum yum. So I'm pretty glad someone linked it since it doesn't show up
I used to almost exclusively vape only this one peach pancake flavor that i made. It was so good that i just couldn't have enough. Don't get me wrong, i tasted other flavors pretty frequently, but always fell back into my "safety zone". After a while i started associating vaping to that flavor. After about six months i didn't even taste the peach pancake, i only tasted what vaping should taste like (in my head at least) :D After a year though all of a sudden i just couldn't vape it anymore. Sad day, but it gave me a new spark to start experimenting with flavors again.
I understand this completely. I've been vaping a lot of it and for some reason I think it is different for everyone but I kinda feel VBIC has its hand in it. I vape MM Almost exclusively but I also have a "cereal" blend I've come up with as well as a blueberry cream and they still taste delicious, but leaving something to be desired. Now I just need make a nice sherbert.
Yeah, I used to have the "vaping/Nic should taste like this" but I got out of that rut. The trick is to have too much goddamn gear. With a lot of mods and tanks you can vape a lot of different flavors concurrently. It helps to break things up. I've got my favorites I'll reach for, but it is nice to have a taste of something else throughout the day.
I recently got addicted to mustard milk. It's such a grower.
Anybody managed a raspberry variant? I've tweaked around but no luck. I really REALLY want to work INW raspberry into a recipe but I've yet to find a way to do so or any recipe that calls for it.
What's the recipe for mustard milk you're using?
Cereal Killah clone. All day errday. I've made the (diketone free) mustard milk. It's OK, not great. Of course, the diacetyl version probably is more tasty.
I've been working on variants of this for awhile. I just pulled this latest batch out of the steeping cabinet today, pretty delicious IMO
Harvest Cream Deluxe
CAP Harvest Berry 6%
TFA Strawberry Ripe 4%
TFA Vanilla Bean Ice Cream 5%
Edit: Worth noting that I mixed it at 85/15 VG/PG at 3mg nic.
I just mixed up a batch of this after seeing it in the July thread. Seems promising!
Thanks! I've sort of felt that Harvest Berry had some potential, but like many I passed it over. Still sort of coming out of my shell here. Hope you like it! I forgot to include in this that it's really a lot better after a few days to a week.
