FA Joy Group Buy - Update
submitted about 10 years ago by Botboy141Gunner's Gold Gourmet E-Juice

Edit Sorry to anyone that was trying to pay with an AmEx, my account was temporarily suspended, that has been resolved now and payments should be able to be accepted from AmEx in the next 20 minutes.

Just a reminder that tomorrow is the last day to pre-order your FA Joy in 6ml, 30ml or 4oz+ size for this group buy. Come midnight Thursday, we will be closed to additional orders.

Previous Thread

I have some good news and some bad news regarding the order. Good news is that it doesn't have to come from Italy, it'll instead ship from FlavourArt's new North American facility. This is what we had hoped for.

Unfortunately, the discounts from retail pricing on FA North America don't start until $1000 order size versus the 200 euro starting point for IT orders. Also still have to pay international shipping (slightly lower but still high) as the new FA NA facility is in Canada. Lastly, the order has to be processed manually from this facility so it's about a one week turnaround time from order until it ships I'm told.

Order will be placed first thing Friday morning as I have a strong feeling I'll have to send a wire transfer to pay for it if they are using the same payment processor on these orders as the Italian based orders.

I'm expecting to have the product delivered to me on or around July 20th, so orders should start shipping from me the next day. At this point, we have ~2 liters so it may take me ~2 days to break it all down and get it out depending on other orders moving through GGG at the time.

I'll see where final costs line up, if I've got some margin, I'll include a 6ml of Awesome Apple Pie for everyone, if I don't, I won't (it won't be much margin regardless as no discount).

Any questions ask away.

7/14/15 - No additional orders at this time

Is it a pretty good sized order as of now? Or pathetic?

I just threw in an order for 30ml because I'm a fan of Glory and Storm so far and I'd like to play around with this one. Thanks for doing this again!

I personally would like to donate my share of the margin to buy you a beer for putting this together for us. Thanks, friend.

If you do end up getting that beer, I'd appreciate you taking a pic of you 'cheers'ing me with it.

Haha not much of a malted beverage guy.

More of a double Crown Royal on the rocks with a lime guy =).

Well then half of that double is on me

Fuck it, for $12, why not. Sounds like a great additive.

It better be with the way everyone has been raving about it. I have some ideas as well I'll be throwing up as soon as I have a chance to start playing with it.

I've only seen a couple things about it, what do you think it'd play well with?

From my understanding it'd make a nice pastry / dessert sweetener. Which I'm all excited for, sucralose is gross to me and EM seems to mute other flavors too much.

Primarily bakery flavors to add an awesome amount of sweetness. It won't be the forefront in 99% of recipes you see it in but it will be an essential ingredient any time you see it used.

I have a few ideas I want to play with that'll go against the grain trying to make it to the forefront of certain recipes but that's going to take some time and a lot of effort I fear.

In the mean time, adding it to some complex cake/cereal mixtures I think could be excellent.

I still haven't tried it myself, for all I know it could be way over-hyped, but I doubt it.

particularly in desert type flavors like pastry and cakes

I've never seen a flavor get so much hype haha. I really hope this is good. We've needed a good sugary flavor that isn't meringue for forever.

Haha LA Banana Cream had more hype =). Moved 20 liters of that like it was nothing.

Would that 6ml be a flavoring concentrate, or ready to vape juice?

1 points

by Botboy141about 10 years agoMixing like a mad man...

Concentrate to be used @ ~12.5%
