Are there any recipes like that?
Try FA Coffee Espresso for the coffee flavor and build from there. It's the most realistic coffee flavor I've found. It's STRONG so use it sparingly if you are going for just a hint of coffee. Like 0.25% or lower, maybe even consider a 10% in PG solution.
Thanks! I think I just ordered some espresso, hope it was tfa.
Creamy Caramel Frappachino
.5% FA Coffee Expresso (up to 1% max, start around .5%)
2% FA Catalan Cream
1% FA Vienna Cream
2% FA Caramel
.75% FA Butterscotch
.25% FA Tiramisu
Thank you! That sounds really good. I've got to check and see what espresso I have coming in. I may have to order the FA espresso.
:) expresso is pretty good base I've found but like others have said can be very sensitive. You could start as low as .25-.5% and go up if you aren't getting enough coffee but it can quickly become overpowering. I think 1% is probably the max you want to go.
I have been using FA cappuccino in a recipe similar to this, I could'nt get the coffee espresso to not overpower even at .25%. Well I liked it, but the person I was making it for is really picky and preferred the more creamy subtle taste of the cappuccino. The vienna cream is a must though, and I recently added some fa whipped cream and thats fantastic as well. I maybe will have more luck with coffee espresso if I do a 10% dilution next time.
FA Cappuccino is better if you want a more subtle coffee flavor, it is just easy to over power it and lose that coffee background note. I like coffee expresso though it is pretty versatile even in some ry4's I've made it can add to that complex nutty/earthy background.
Any sort of coffee flavor is a fickle mistress. You either get an extremely light coffee flavor(which may work for a flavored Starbucks frappachino) or and overwhelming, headache-inducing coffee flavor that is just all around unpleasant. I gave up on coffees a while ago for this reason :/
TFA vanilla swirl, FA Vienna cream and a bit of caramel for the creamy, almost milkshake like base. the hard part would be finding a coffee flavor. i would go with INW mocha since starbucks fraps dot really have that much coffee notes i them your basically going for a chocolate milkshake with a touch of coffee in a way. and of course a touch of coolada for that coldness.
granted i dont have an actual recipe for you, however this did spart my interest in exploring the possibilities of a frappachino vape. hope this helps
