I'm trying to find flavor bases to make true 100% VG liquid (no PG at all). I searched quite a bit, but can't seem to find a solid lead. Anyone have any supplier that offer a solid line of vape-able VG based flavor extracts?
Medicine Flower
You can get it already diluted from /u/abdada here
I'm terribly behind on dilutions right now due to my move AND due to my old labs having a ceiling collapse two weeks ago during a storm. But hit me up and I'm happy to get it going!
Also, I will soon be doing reviews of all the VG flavor bases (maybe a video, probably a blog) -- I have them all, tried them all, and some are excellent and others are horrifying.
Killer Flavors
OOO Flavors
Nature's Flavors
Even some TFA are PG-free. FlavorWest has some PG-free.
How do your dilutions taste? Are they comparable to other flavor brands that are PG when used in the same general manner to make liquid?
Medicine Flower is very "true to flavor" which is actually not all it's cracked up to be. The chocolates ARE chocolate, but without the sweetness. The strawberry is the most realistic strawberry you will ever find but it's not sweet, just strawberry. The citrus fruits are incredible but also painfully sour.
I love the flavors but it has taken a very very very long time for me to come up with base flavor percentages. I've probably spent $3000 of my own money just going through 15mL bottles to figure it out.
I love the flavors but they are SO singular that they're tough to blend because they're overpotent. I have actual mixes where 1 drop of flavor is too much so I have to use my own dilutions to bring it down. Some of my more complex blends would technically be 0.05% of one flavor otherwise it becomes sharp or harsh or perfumey.
That being said, Virgin Vapor's organic line is all Medicine Flower and they definitely have a bunch of real winners. I've cloned 100% of VV's organic line (at great cost to myself) and regularly vape a few of those as an EDV or ADV.
Right now my most popular flavors I "sell" locally are a combination of Medicine Flower, OOO flavors, Nature's Flavors and my own aroma volatile concentrates that I make up. Even so, the overall flavoring percentage is extremely low -- I have a popular flavor I sell locally that is 92.5% VG, 6% DW, 0.5% TEC, 0.3% nicotine and 0.7% total flavor. And to me it's overflavored but it's popular and no one else complaines.
Looking forward to that!!
edit: I really wanted to love KF but they didn't hold up to TFA Pg stuff. I had high hopes, and they are local to me.
Do you know of a list anywhere of which TFA flavors are pg free or am I going to have to scout the MSDS or email Linda?
I just saw these when looking at July 4th sales, but apparently they've just released a whole line of VG flavors.
I've ordered some to sample but haven't recieved them yet so I can't give any info on quality, etc.

Your best bet for major selection of flavors is to buy alcohol based flavors, cure them and evaporate off the alcohol, leaving you with the flavor + your vg base. The pure VG flavors make it difficult to vape as they burn frequently without a thinner carrier unless u add a bit of DW.
