A very nice Pink Lemonade flavour from the UK
submitted about 10 years ago by brownthunder93

Hey guys, thought I'd share my pink lemonade recipe for anyone who wants it.

6% Inawera Lemon 3% Inawera Lime 3% Inawera Raspberry 6% TPA/TFA Strawberry 1% Koolada 2% Sour Mix 5% Sweetener

The best way I've found to get it ready for use as fast as possible is to shake it vigorously non-stop for 3 minutes, put it in a hot water bath wrapped in foil for 30 minutes and then straight into the freezer FOR NO MORE THAT 20 MINUTES (found out that if you try and use it immediately after its been in the freezer for longer than that then it doesn't vape well at all and you have to leave it for a few days after) and then it's good to go straight after that! You can let it steep but this is a relatively quick liquid to make and tastes great right off the bat!

Hope you guys enjoy it as much as my mates and I do!

Recipe looks delicious

May I ask, what is the logic behind putting it in the freezer?

I put it in the freezer after the water bath because it is very harsh if you vape it immediately when warm, because it cools the bottles down and sets the plastic again after heating (I've found that the tips can become loose and don't stay on the bottles, so I cool it down to mould the tip to the bottle) and also because I've just found that it helps bring out the flavour of the citrus (I honestly have no idea why, but just from experience it helps)

I hope that helps! :)

You shouldn't be heat steeping in plastic.

Putting eliquid into the freezer seems extremely questionable. What is your reasoning behind this?

I sometimes do it after a hot water bath or a round in the ultrasonic cleaner to cool it back to room temperature. I notice if i vape it immediately after it's been warmed it is a bit harsh. Just throwing my reasoning out there.

That sounds like a ridiculous amount of Inawera flavorings. Don't they tend to be even stronger than FA?

They are. Most I've ever used an INW flavor at was 1.5% and it was the spotlight of the recipe. Average for me is .25-.5%.

It does look like a fuckton of lemon and lime, as for raspberry I don't have it yet. 3% can be good for some flavors.

I tried 2% lemon + 1% lime in a lemon pie recipe and it was already a lot. It's good but I don't think more would be very useful in a mix. I guess if you want the raspberry to be strong but still keep the lemon on top, then you might have to use more but probably not 9% combined.

They are stronger but I've found that in doubling the required amount of lemon that inawera says you should use makes it kick you in the nads (rather than being quite subtle). It's a bold flavour and that's why I use that much, but to be honest it's what works for me, but feel free to dial it back if you want!

I bet you could easily cut those percentages in half and still have a damn tasty vape. Maybe even cutting the sweetener down to 1.5%. Seems like a alot of flavoring since your using inawera.

Percentages seem way over the top. Maybe half or even knock 2/3 off them all and see how that is?

Inawera raspberry is best around 2% or less, I find.

Nice flavor combo! I will try it. But as a few users have said: I will probably bring down the percentages a tad.

Thank-you for sharing, looking forward to mixing this for the summer
