I just... shake them? Is it necessary to agitate the mixes this much?

I don't think so. Unless you're mixing bottle after bottle

I do this as well. Lately I've been wondering though, how long should I be shaking for?

I shake til I think it's blended, then a little more for good measure. I have no real answer for you, it's only going to get so blended, right?

Right, but are we talking a few minutes, 10 minutes? What?

Holy shit guys, this isn't rocket surgery. Give it a shake for a minute, et it down, come back and shake it for another minute. I promise you it will taste exactly the same as running through that sawzaw. don't over think it

Rocket surgery?

Rocket science is hard. Brain surgery is hard. Rocket surgery is damn near impossible.

MIX AND DESTROY

Typically I take a coffee straw from McDonalds (or any other fat guy feedery) and cut one side so that it resembles a propeller. I put the other end into my power drill and use it like a small mixer. Works wonders.

.... that's smart as hell, I'm gonna try that.

This sounds like a project for someone with a 3d printer ...

For small batches I do that to a q tip. I cut it twice so it has 4 blades.

Yep. I found Q-tips didn't reach the bottom of my bottles so I had to get a longer stem. I also made a beater of sorts with the scraps I had from some old model cars and a hot glue gun. It suits my needs. If I ever have to start mixing juice in volume I'll do something different, but for now I'm making about 120 ml/week and my little straw stirrer works perfectly.

Can you post a pic of that? Thanks.

I fold a long piece of kanthal several times. It's pretty aggressive.

Hit your local Walmart or Home depot and grab one of these clamps for like $2. I drilled a hole through my sawzall blade and mounted it so it wouldn't fly off..... makes it much easier to hold the juice.

If you have a jig saw at home, it works great with that also.

Am I the only one who uses a magnetic stir bar?

That's one of the best ways to do it

Do not use to mix a 120ml.
