Are SKS bottles considered child safe? I'm speaking of the Cosmo style twist tops that I see a lot of online juice retailers pushing. I recently ordered some for DIY and do not sell juice so I'm not worried about it, but was curious because I know a lot of other people do.

NY state (where I live) is cracking down on ecig safety. And honestly this particular regulation is not one I have a problem with, they are simply requiring juice be sold in child proof packaging. Considering some states want to ban flavored juice or juice altogether, I think this was a a nice baby step.
The twist style caps don't have any for of lock on them which is why they're nice for personal use. And the wider mouth makes for some very convenient mixing. You'd have to have some shaky ass hands to spill while mixing into those bottles.
And here in California basically every ejuice bottle is sold with a child proof cap which i do believe is a good idea.
sorry but I dont have a good answer for ya but bassed off of other comments they are thoes twist top style caps. Personally I cant stand them. They always leak. They lead crom the top they leak out the bottom. they leak past the threads. Sorry but I will take the small top bottle any day. Also the flip top bottle caps sorta like for shampoo somethimes is no better. :/ I think bottles hate me.
Well I have 24 of them, will put some juice in and, use them then hold it upside down for a while and see if they leak.
The main leaking would be they would leak from unter the twist cap. Like any miniscule amount would leak.
Ya I just got the order earlier today. I put a few mls of VG in to test. Squeezes out and stops mostly when you want. No leaking from the threads or under the cap yet it's hanging upside down. As soon as I saw the twist cap though I knew were the flaw would be: closing it. Because the clear piece fills with the liquid, you will always have some in the tip when you close it. So you have a little bit in there that can leak out, and when you reopen it it kind of bubbles and pops out.
I only ordered these bc I saw a lot of people using them on Instagram and wanted to try. Now I don't know why anybody would want them, or why a business would sell their juice in them. I guess if it's just sitting on a shelf somewhere....
