So I made the Andromeda clone:
- 4% Vanillin
- 8% Blueberry Extra
- 3% Pomegranate
But I cant get Vanillin here, so I tried 4% Vanilla Swirl instead. The recipe tastes okay, but it could use something to spruce it up some. Anyone have an idea on what I should do? Please.
I have VB Ice Cream, French Vanilla and Vanilla Swirl. I've tried tweaking with these, but didn't seem to really improve the juice. I don't really care to 1/1 clone the Andromeda, I just want my recipe to shine a bit more. I only have TFA flavours.
Any ideas would be appreciated.
Why can't you get Vanillin but you can get TFA? TFA sells Vanillin prediluted in PG.
Wgat are you trying to do? If you want fuller flavor I'd add some lemon or orange to bring out the fruits a touch. If you want more dessert richness I'd add a touch of marshmallow and 3% more Vanilla swirl
I'm in South Africa. Our postal service is huge pain in the ass, which makes importing a lengthy process. If I really want I can I suppose. DIY is only now taking off properly, so the few retailers we have bringing in TFA stuff, don't carry all the flavors.
EDIT: Thank you for the suggestions! I will add some marshmallow and more Swirl
Maybe call Cape Food Ingredients and see if they'll sell you a small amount of powdered vanillin? It's very strong, and 100g would last you forever. I'm a fan of the stuff. You'd just need to dissolve it at 10% in PG.
Oh wow, yes, I didn't even think to look outside the vaping scene. But of coarse, thank you. I see here it does seem to be very popular.
The magic of Google. Pretty much all of the things we use in diy are food products, and most of the flavor companies sell more for food than vaping. I'm almost certain that with a little searching, you could find Capella, FlavourArt, your missing TFA, etc., for most food flavors. Tobacco flavors might be harder, of course.
