Wow /u/jordan917 What a great video!! We really appreciate the time you took to put this together.

Quick update for anyone interested in our kit. We will now include blank labels in the starter kit and we also fixed the typos that /u/jordan917 found on the mat. Thanks for catching those.

imho it would be more important to make the juice-base variable, not just PG,VG, PG/VG.

Hi /u/mundfein Ill bring this up to our flavor department to consider. Thanks for your feedback.

I like your simplified setup for beginners. One way to offer choice is to have a brief blurb in your pamphlet like "We highly recommend starting with a 50/50 mix for an excellent blend of flavor and vapor. For more adventurous mixologists, you can find additional ratio directions at www.xxx.com/yyyy".

Love the structure, cleanliness, and depth of your videos. Haven't seen one I didn't like yet--though the Mutation videos seemed out of sync with the expectations I had of your channel.

That being said, great video here, and I agree it would be an excellent starter kit. I think these DIY kits needs to ditch mixing by volume with mixing by weight. I don't think mixing by weight is for "seasoned mixers" as you mentioned in the video...it's just a simpler alternative.

Thanks a bunch! The Mutation X videos were my attempt at branching out into doing gear reviews. The channel is still young and I'm still trying to find what works and what doesn't, those certainly could be better I think.

I agree weight mixing is simpler all around, I just feel the learning curve is a bit higher for someone who is new to all of this. Calculating a recipe takes some effort to learn at first and then converting those measurements to grams can be tricky. I'd like to see a weight kit as well, but I feel that would be a more expensive kit, so there'd be the cheap volumetric kit and the expensive weight kit.

Going to have to disagree with the recipe calculations. e-liquid-recipes.com and other similar sites make it thoughtless to convert. Just gotta put your percentages in and be done with it.

Thanks for this, Ive been searching for a good kit that I can use out of the box. You just saved me about a week of searching. What I really wanted was something with a variety of flavorings instead of 3 or 4 like most kits include that I found. Awesome review

Thanks, this video took a lot of work since there was so much to cover in the kit. Like I said in the video, there's room for improvement but for beginners who have no idea where to start, this is all inclusive and very informative.

Where do you get your labels from?

I get the plain white office labels from Target, they're usually 100 for a few dollars. I'm not too fancy when it comes to labels tbh.

If you want to be fancy, you can probably stick em in your printer and print right on em.

Amazing Video! Such a clear voice, and great information about the kit.

I wonder if they sell that chart individually, it would be nice to have just in case?

That's a good question actually, I don't see it listed on the website anywhere. I think it's just bundled with the kit. Still it's nice that it's laminated to protect it from the eventual accidental spill.
