Recipe - The Watergate Conspiracy
submitted over 10 years ago by [deleted]

This is one of my favorites so far and I feel like sharing. Please let me know if you vape this and what you think of it. It might be god-awful for all that I know but it's really hitting the spot for me.

The Watergate Conspiracy

  • 3% LA Banana Cream
  • 6% TFA Pistachio
  • 5% TFA Strawberry Ripe
  • 2% TFA Vanilla Swirl
  • 1% CAP Cake Batter
  • 1% TFA Bavarian Cream
  • 1% TFA Sweet Cream
  • 1 drop Citric Acid per 2 ML (Not sure if this is even needed)

You might want to start with 3-4% Pistachio and add more if needed. I'm also wondering what Golden Pineapple and some Whipped Cream would taste like in it.

EDIT: Also, I have a simpler version that I also find good.

Watergate Light

  • 2% LA Banana Cream
  • 6% TFA Pistachio
  • 3%TFA Pineapple
  • 3% TFA Vanilla Swirl
  • 1.5% CAP Cake Batter

For this I use 1 drop CA per ML and I'm not sure if it helps or hinders.

Thanks for getting me into this shit ECR!

Brand all your flavors. There will be questions.

Are you telling me that we're supposed to be hiding our precious recipes in one mega-thread? That feels fairly dreadful but will do going forward.

EDIT: This must be why the sub has looked like a barren wasteland to me. I don't like it!

It was sort of the consequence of too many "Made my first mix!" and "Made this, and it tastes pretty good" posts.

If you did want to post this on the main page, add a lot more detail to your posts akin to what /u/fizzmustard and /u/enyawreklaw do (example here and here). /u/shrine399's Lomage to Hooper would also be a good example of a quality post.

It will only look like a barren wasteland for now but I believe people are more than capable of contributing more detail to their recipes -- and will do so in time. Someone who really likes their own creation and wants to share it on the main page will spend a little more time on the post which everyone benefits from in the end.

Is this like Watergate pistachio cake? If so, I am totally bookmarking this recipe. :)

Hope you like it! If you do, let me know and I'll send you the next iterations of the recipe. I've been tweaking it for months. Whipped cream is going in it soon and I want to try replacing the Pineapple with Golden Pineapple.

Also if you can't see the recipe since I deleted the post:

2% LA Banana Cream

6% TFA Pistachio

3%TFA Pineapple

3% TFA Vanilla Swirl

1.5% CAP Cake Batter

Thanks for sending it over - now I have to order some more flavors :)

My mom has made that cake for my birthday almost every year as long as I can remember. It's my favorite.

Hah! That's awesome! My mom always made it for my stepfather's birthday and I didn't really appreciate it until they divorced and it was no longer a tradition. Might have to make one, its been like 10 years lol

That's what I was originally going for but I'll admit this doesn't taste like cake to me. I would say if you like Watergate cake or some of Grandma's Watergate Salad, you'll find this pretty tasty.
