- FW Cinnamon Roll 2.5%
- FA Fuji 2.25%
Can someone else try this out? I think it's spot on, but another person said it had too much cinnamon. That guy sucks.
I have been hearing alot about this juice. I would actually buy it if they sold it in smaller quantities. 180ml for 60 bucks isn't bad but the amount of flavorings I can buy with the same amount of money keeps me from splurging on it.
Yeah I tried it from a friend, I haven't bought a bottle of anything since I started DIY, just been cloning peoples request.
If your looking for a good apple muffin vape and don't mind having to buy flavorings for it; you should check out my apple cinnamon muffin I posted in the June thread. As posted it is a good vape. Sweet apple on the inhale with the muffin and cinnamon on the back. It is still a WIP as I will more than likely adjust cinnamon up some. It tastes good shake and vape and after a week everything melds a bit better.
Does it taste like muffin man? I dont know and probably will never know.
Damn that sounds tasty. My next flavoring order list is getting huge. Thanks for the share!
I won't even admit how many ml's of this I have vaped over the course of almost 2 weeks. Like I said it is nearly where I want it to be. It is a sweet vape with light cinnamon muffin on the backend. Next revision I am going to up the cinnamon a bit and try subbing out Van. Cupcake for something else I have in mind.
The longer recipe is my original recipe posted on http://vapingunderground.com/threads/muffin-man.76859/
The original was for 18ml of VG, and yes it was TFA frosted donut, the bottle was given to me split from a larger original bottle and the label handwritten with no.manufacturer, I guessed it was FW at the time. I've since added 1% FA Fuji to my mix. How did everyone that mixed this up like it? One hit wonder has a blueberry muffin juice coming out soon that I also think I've gotten pretty close to after trying it at the NJ vape expo.... not close enough to post yet!
I've never actually had Muffin Man so my input probably isn't that valuable, but I love apples and this looks yummy so I just mixed it up. I'll try it in a few.
EDIT: Ohhhh damn thats pretty yummy. Honestly I'd say a little more cinnamon would be better. But maybe I'll change my mind after steeping.
Someone just posted a site packed with clones. Here's what's listed there. I just found it minutes ago. Will need to be converted to more suitable format as percentages but you should get an idea of it from list:
- (DROPS)
- 32 Frosted donut FW
- 48 Apple Jax Type FW
- 32 Apple Pie (cap)
- 15 Sweetener (TFA)
- 8 Brown Sugar Extra (TFA)
- 15 Vanilla Custard V2 (Cap)
- 8 Cinnamon Danish (TFA)
- 6 Cheesecake Graham Crust (TFA)
Assuming this is a 20% Flavor juice. A Rough Approximation based on the drops would be something like this. however that is a ton of sweetener, but it seem new juices today are chocked full of it. Who knows.
Rough Percentages of Muffin Man Clone
Ingredients|Ing %| :---|---:|---:|---:|---: Frosted Donut (TFA)|4.00%|11.2|0.580 g|0.560 ml Apple J Cereal (FW)|5.75%|16.1|0.834 g|0.805 ml Apple Pie (Capella)|4.00%|11.2|0.580 g|0.560 ml Sweetener (TFA)|1.75%|4.9|0.254 g|0.245 ml Brown Sugar Extra (TFA)|1.00%|2.8|0.145 g|0.140 ml Vanilla Custard v2 (Capella)|1.75%|4.9|0.254 g|0.245 ml Cinnamon Danish (TFA)|1.00%|2.8|0.145 g|0.140 ml Cheesecake Graham Crust (TFA)|0.75%|2.1|0.109 g|0.105 ml
This is assuming they Mean Frosted Donut which is made by TFA. If not the only other donut is from Capella and it is called "Glazed"
I personally would Cut the sweetener out as the Frosted Donut is sweet enough (From reviews I have read). I would do something along the lines of.
Ingredients|Ing %| :---|---:|---:|---:|---: Frosted Donut (TFA)|4.00%|11.2|0.580 g|0.560 ml Apple J Cereal (FW)|6.00%|16.1|0.834 g|0.805 ml Apple Pie (Capella)|4.00%|11.2|0.580 g|0.560 ml Fuji (FA)|1.50%|4.9|0.254 g|0.245 ml Brown Sugar Extra (TFA)|0.5%|2.8|0.145 g|0.140 ml Vanilla Custard v2 (Capella)|2.00%|4.9|0.254 g|0.245 ml Cinnamon Danish (TFA)|1.00%|2.8|0.145 g|0.140 ml Cheesecake Graham Crust (TFA)|1.00%|2.1|0.109 g|0.105 ml
This is just theorizing.
I just mixed this on 5/31 and have been sampling it every few days. It tastes like apple pie and it's very good but I've never had Muffin Man so I don't know how it compares to OG. The cinnamon and apple have really come out in the past few days. It is definitely worth a small tester. I'd mix it again. Conversions I used:
Frosted Donut (TFA) 3.2%
Apple J Cereal (FW) 4.8%
Apple Pie (Capella) 3.2%
Sweetener (TFA) 1.5%
Brown Sugar Extra (TFA) 0.8%
Vanilla Custard v2 (Capella) 1.5%
Cinnamon Danish (TFA) 0.8%
Cheesecake Graham Crust (TFA) 0.6%
That just seems like way too many ingredients. Muffin Man is pretty simple, and I think that's whats tripping people up, they're over complicating it.
I agree 100% with this. People need to understand the marketing aspect of business. Thats where we get the oh so popular terms, "Premium" and "Complex" Why would a business say, Standard ejuice in our very simple formula with apple and cinnomon roll at roughly 15% flavoring total in our 80/20 blend. For info on where to buy all our ingredients, email us or call our clone hotline so we can go out of business.
conversion 25% : for http://www.lediypourlesnuls.com/one-hit-wonder-the-muffin-man/
Apple Jacks (FW) 8,08%
Apple Pie (CAP) 5,38%
Frosted donut (FW) 3,58%
Vanilla Custard v2 (CAP) 2,52%
Sweetener (TFA) 2,52%
Brown Sugar (TFA) 1,35%
Cinnamon Danish (TFA) 0,89%
Cheesecake Graham Crust (TFA) 0,67%
I think reducing the cinammon roll to 2% and adding a sweetener is all it is; I've just started tasting it but holy Jesus does it have sucralose or EM in it. Seriously too much almost.
OP, I tried your recipe and let it steep for a week, I liked it and thought it tasted similar but it's not exactly Muffin Man. I then went ahead and added 1.2% TFA Granny Smith and my oh my is that tasty. I consider it a daily juice. I say "Granny Smith" but on the TPA site its called Apple (Tart Granny Smith) Flavor.
That's what we're here for! I thought it was real close too, closer than the few other's I saw that had like 8 different ingredients, but I figured mine was missing a lil something. Good job. I'm not a huge fan of MM, so I'll take your word for it.
I mean, your original is pretty close, I just added the Granny Smith because I thought a little sour of the same apple kind of taste would pick it up, I just made more but I took the Apple tart down to 1% and I think its a tad bit better. Real Muffin Man kind of has a tiny bit less bread flavor to it.
