Thanks in advance. I've already added the flavors in suggested percentages to my PG/VG/Nic solution and made 5ml samples of each of the flavors. That said; what is the best way to sample these flavors effectively so that I can make detailed notes on them?
An RDA will be the fastest, but it's gonna take you a really long time.
You can't just sit down and start vaping flavor after flavor and think that you're gonna get anything really useful out of it.
First, olfactory fatigue will set in much quicker than you think, and things will start tasting similar even if using different hardware for each flavor.
Then you have to contend with the fact that your atomizer really needs to be cleaned between flavors or you get cross contamination. Especially with things like TFA Honeydew.
I bought 10 IGO-Ws to do my testing on so I could try each flavor on a fresh build and clean atomizer. I'd sample a flavor for ~10 minutes, toss the coil, and drop it in a glass of vodka to be scrubbed down and rebuilt.
The short answer is that you shouldn't have mixed that many flavors all at once.
I tested and took notes on several hundred flavors by doing 3-5 per day for most of a year when I started mixing. I've still got flavors I haven't really "tested" (damn manufacturers keep popping up).
I started with the intent to taste everything from every manufacturer and abandoned that idea about three months in.
The problem is that you want to know what they taste like fresh, right from the manufacturer, but you also want to know what they taste like after curing for a while.
In your case, you're not even gonna get to some of those flavors for a couple of weeks, so you've lost the first part.
Don't necessarily toss anything, but I don't know how useful your notes are gonna be with the mega batch you have.
I found that it helped to drink a ton of water while tasting, and sniff some coffee beans between every couple of puffs. Also I find that exhaling through your nose gives a profoundly different flavor than if you exhale through your mouth.

Very very very slowly with detailed notes, a can of coffee to sniff between flavors, and a lot of re-wicking a single coil set up on an RDA.
Ummm, it looks like I'm the only one who has seen the recommendation by someone to put a drop or two of flavor into 10mL of water in a shot glass and use that to get a general idea for the flavor. It won't be as accurate as the suggestions others have given, but it should suffice for fruit flavors at least.
I've heard and/or thought of doing it that way. I am just not sure how analogous it is to actually vaping it. I would be interested to hear from someone who has tried it. I can't remember who it was, but someone who regularly hangs out around here was explaining it one time.
I did do that, with all of them. Now I'm moving to sampling in solution to understand the 'steeping time of each flavor. For this I was thinking of using an RDA with a silicon wick, but wanted the input from others here to make sure I was going about this the right way. Thanks.
That's what I did. It's not exact like it would be vaping but it does offer an overview, sense of intesity, etc. There was some on here who posted their flavoring notes which I think was first impressions in a water base of a new line of flavors. So it's not unheard of. I've also read where people put a drop into cool whip to get the general idea of what they tasted like. Water seemed more accurate imo.
