I've only gotten into DIY in the past few months or so, so i'm still a beginner, but i really cant even think about what sort of ingredients would go into this sort of recipe.
I ask because i tried a juice a few weeks ago that was i swear to god, the best juice i've ever tasted, but it was a sampler for a company that isn't sold anywhere in the EU and i feel like since its a fairly well known flavour profile, some of ya'll might be able to pitch in and suggest things.
I've done all the usual searching, sidebarring, googling and a quick comment in the monthly recipe thread, but have no idea's so far. So, what would your suggestions be?
I mean all i can think of would be like, i guess it would include dairy/milk in some regard or some kind of milky cream. And maybe like...Well, sweetener and then....i dont even know. WHAT FLAVOUR ARE FROSTED FLAKES I JUST KNOW THEY'RE DELICIOUS BUT WHAT IS THEIR FLAVOUR.
this is stressing me out.
>WHAT FLAVOUR ARE FROSTED FLAKES
Corn, Sugar
You could try this but I can't vouch for it
Would something like
-
.5% -1% Acetylpyrazine
-
5% - 10% Ethylmaltol
Work? I can only guess, you are the expert.
/u/enyawreklaw mentioned something about mixing those in his Young Lungs video. Can't remember what he said but maybe he could chime in with a suggestion
Yeah AP at around 1-1.5% will add a crispy type flavor, but it needs to be used correctly. It doesn't just add grain to the grainy flavors, it adds grain to everything, so your mix needs to have the right flavorings in it. Check out my Cap'n Crunch recipe, this will help you understand how I used AP at a high percentage. I used it to kill the fruit profile in the Berry Crunch and just bring out the crunch flavor, as well as the cookie.
Also, EM isn't a sweetener, it's makes things seem sweeter. It's kind of hard to explain, but it generally is used to just make fruits more of a main note, or round out harsh edges from acidic flavors.
Sucralose makes everything sweeter, but also kills your coils. To the point where its pointless to use IMO.
My capn crunch recipe is that of just a bowl of capn crunch plain with milk. I know that's not what you want, but you can build off that. Just play around homie
Break it down into areas of flavor.. 1.Corn flake. well the main aspect of it is a bready note so acetyl pyrazine would work in that case. 2. Frosted, is sugar. so I would look for a straight sweetener like cotton candy (EM) or a straight sweetener in a PG form say from TFA 3. Milk, Malto milk or from Nic Vape Milk flavor those are your basic flavor profile of what you described. Its best to break the flavor down on what you are looking for then piece it together to get the complete list of flavors needed
The hardest part will be the corn flavor. AP by itself won't give you that same flavor.
