Just curious if you do. Those that don't, how long until it gets harsh? Takes about a month here for it to get harsh without it being in the freezer. Good thing I have a back up
Absolutely. I have a liter sitting at -10F in a deep freezer, separated into 125mL aliquots. I refill a 30mL Boston round when needed, and leave that in a cool, dark area.
Freeze your nic.
Basically what I do (minus the deep freezer.) I keep my main bottle(s) in the freezer, and occasionally dilute some out into a 30ml or 60ml bottle to work with. I'm not sure if I'm going to keep using Nude, but I was buying 72mg base and diluting down to 36ml to mix with; the 72mg base kept the math easy, but I'll probably just go with 100mg (especially if I switch nic suppliers.)

I've never had an issue with NN, and find their stuff exceptionally smooth.
I break my nic into 5 30ml bottles and put 4 in the freezer. Haven't had my nic go bad yet since going this route.
No I dont. I keep it away from direct sunlight and store it in a cool place and I never noticed an issue with it. However, if its not a PG base but VG-only freezing bigger amounts might not be a bad idea after all because VG is not antibacterial.
How long til it goes bad this way? This is my second batch from nude that has gone bad in 3 weeks.
The higher the nic strength, the faster heat and oxygen will effect it. I break mine down into 30ml amber bottles with child safety, label "POISON! 100mg Nic" and place in the back of the freezer. Keep one bottle out at a time. It doesn't go bad for quite a while, but problem is opening a large batch over and over, exposing it to oxygen each time.
I am having my concentrate for maybe half a year like this without noticable differences in potency or otherwise. My liquid batches dont survive long enough to judge how long they would stay good as that 100ml bottle I keep refilling gets empty in a week max.
If you have problems with concentrates going bad, Id switch to PG or add maybe 10% ethanol.
I keep my nic in the freezer until I go to mix up a batch, then I just shake the hell out of it and add it last after all the flavorings before I add in vg. I just keep my vg under a desk and out of the light, plus it's in an opaque jug, so I'm guessing it should be fine.
When nic is frozen does it turn solid or does it hold it's liquid form? Instead of buying nicotine i just ask for samples from various vendors so I haven't needed to freeze it.
I had 120ml of 100mg/ml nic in PG from Vaperstek; the last 50ml went bad (turned darker, had an awful smell, started imparting a nasty taste and harshness into mixes, started muting flavors) by 4 months time, in a dark cabinet, sealed, ambient room temperature 50-70degrees F. I had been shaking it and mixing then resealing and storing it. From now on I'm going to take out just a little bit at a time and keep the rest frozen and sealed, and stir vs shake so there's not as much air in the bottle.
Hi guys, noob DIYer here. I just ordered my first batch of nic a few days ago which seems really good and clear! I used it in a couple fruit mixes and it turned out really nice!
I transferred it from a 60ml plastic bottle to 4 15ml amber glass bottles (all I had) and put it in the fridge. Should I be storing it in the freezer for longer periods? I was worried freezing might not be good for it but this thread has me thinking otherwise. It's 100mg in 100% VG.
Freeze it. The colder the better. Let it warm up and shake the snot out of it before you mix with it. Especially since it's in VG.
