It's a lot more fun..and way more active. Guess I'm the only person who believes in the reddit system working on it's own. I don't see why we can't simply ignore questions we don't like and carry on. The sidebar is great but some people like giving and getting personal help.

This guy posted a request, got two people's opinion and another person actually posted the recipe. I think that's great.
But then what is there left to bitch about?
I've got no complaints to make about this sub lately. When I first came here it was straight up dead with like a month between threads sometimes and /u/InertiaCreeping was the only active mod IIRC. Now the monthly recipe threads get 100+ comments. Thats awesome. We're doing pretty well if you ask me. Good job everybody!
For every clone request that gets a response like this, there are 30 more where people get called names and stuff.
Odds are, you don't see half the stuff like this that gets posted as we mods re-direct the person to the appropriate recurring thread (nicely with links and stuff) and then remove their OP.
This forum has been my lifeblood for entering into the DIY scene. I've only been at this for a couple weeks and all the knowledge of gathered has come from the great people of this forum. It's fun and friendly here, and hilarious when mods play elaborate practical jokes. Cheers for DIY_eJuice sub!
Agreed, the sub has been great lately.
The only threads that get on my nerves are the "Hi! I just bought some things, what do I do?" or "I bought these flavors, what should I make?" I especially loathe the latter, although I try to calmly link them to e-liq recipes and tell them about the 'What Can I Make?' button.
