Odd sugar like ring around new juice

Hey DIY! I recently tried making a new juice and it is fairly good but have a couple problems i cant wrap my head around

For the first 5-7 days there is a type of "ring" that forms around surface of the bottle, i can shake the bottle and it goes away but it quickly reforms. It seems that steeping makes this go away but still its very odd.

It's just air bubbles. I get that on some of my liquids when they're fresh :)

Ding ding ding! Nothing to worry about OP. Lots of my juices look like this as well. Its not that unusual.

Like others have said, and I know that you really doubt this, but it's air. If you really want to get rid of it, you can heat the juice in warm water, and the air should get out win an hour or so.

Hate to re-iterate an already suggested answer, but the more the merrier; it's just air bubbles rising to the top the viscosity of the juice is too high for the bubbles to quickly break, like they would in water, so they collect at the top. Let the juice rest long enough or give it a warm bath and they will go away :).

What are the flavours? this might help with investigation. Also was the bottle cleaned prior to mixing?

I used Blue Raspberry cotton candy (CAP) Blueberry (CAP) Apple Candy (TFA) Capella Super Sweet (CAP)

Yes the bottle was clean.

The bottle looks sort of cloudy, have you mixed it with a power tool or something? If so that's like a foam that comes from mixing and if you shake it or just let it sit it will dissipate over a short time.

I used a magnetic stirrer. Ive dealt with "foam" before and this definitely isnt that. The picture in retrospect doesn't do it much justice. It actually looks just like sugar and only accumulates in a ring on the surface of the juice.

Sometimes stuff in my juices will recrystallize for a bit, before returning to normal. I've noticed this behavior with EM and Triacetin.

If that's what's going on, waiting or a small amount of heating will fix it. Probably just air bubbles from stirring or emulsifying though.

It looks like one of your flavorings recrystallized and floated to the top. Lower the Cotton Candy and the super sweet. Those are the only two flavorings I can think that did it.

Happens to lots of mixes I make. I know it has fully mixed when I shake it and come back the next day and it hasn't returned. Most of the time it takes 3 or 4 days of shake and wait for it to completely disappear but once it's gone it's usually good to go. I find the air bubbles actually help oxidize/steep it a little more quickly. Keep in mind I almost always use a frother to ensure my ingredients are well blended. Shaking became too much of a pain in the ass once making large 500ml batches.
