I'm starting to wonder...is the priority of this sub to make clones, or is the focus still developing our own flavors and mixing techniques?

Seems to just be a temporary joke. AFAIK everything will remain as it was.

Edit: I was just messing around on GIMP and decided to give the banner a try for the hell of it lol.
