How do you store your concentrate/DIY bottles?

I bought some nail varnish holders off ebay to hold my concentrates and pre-mixed 10ml bottles but I'm getting worried about the impact of sunlight and heat on them, as they're in my office.

What I've got in mind as my perfect storage system, is a box or set of drawers that pull out, with a cardboard criss-cross lattice inside each drawer that'll each hold one 10ml bottles. So I can store them in a dark cool cupboard, but also get the fluids I want easily without having to rummage through a random bag.

Can anyone think of anything that could do this or something similar? I'm crap at DIY so hoping ebay or Amazon has something!

I have a dog and kids, so while I'd like to have my stuff set out in a dedicated mixing area, that's just not an option.

So what I did is picked up a cheap plastic toolbox and three tackle boxes (the flat, clear kind with separators in them, not the toolbox sized ones). I have my flavors organized in the tackle boxes, with sections labeled by things like fruit, cream, dessert, tobacco, additives, etc. I have those stacked in the toolbox along with VG, PG, Nic, safety glasses and gloves, pipettes, and my scale. I keep a combination lock on the toolbox, and have a large Rubbermaid dedicated to storage of bulk PG and VG, plus more pipettes and bottles.

It takes me about 5 minutes to set up and tear down, with almost no cleanup. I place a thick trash bag on my work surface and just toss any used gloves and pipettes on the table as I'm going. When I'm done, I wrap it all up, bag it and toss it.

does anyone else keep their concentrates in the fridge? will it hurt them. I have been keeping them there for a while and they all seem to still be good.

I have small sealed stackable plastic boxes that fit most 10ml bottles, they have room for 28 flavors in each box. I label the top of the boxes, and label each box with which range they contain. I then have an excel sheet where I can quickly look up which box I need to get my hands on. Collecting the correct flavors for a recipe is a breeze with this! Flavors smell. So you really want boxes that are sealed!

This is brilliant!! I have enough flavors at this point I'm starting to loose track of what I actually have for inventory.

I keep bulk flavor (4oz or greater) in the fridge. At the moment smaller bottles (30ml or less) are just thrown in a drawer of a small cabinet I picked up for juice supplies.

Until I did this, I had to trawl through my bottles to find the flavors I needed. I could take a while. Now it takes minutes, if not seconds to gather the flavors I need :) And no heavy smell anywhere :D

I asked my wife to pick up some of those containers, she seemed to know exactly what they were. Now I just have to keep up with the administrative work when I order a new batch and catalog the 4oz and above containers in the fridge. I've already misplaced a 4oz and found it again the other day.

I'm probably going to do this. I use excel sheets to keep track of all the different flavours I have so numbering them would be easier. I think I'll buy some little pre-printed number sticks for the top of the bottle lid.

I'm currently using a silverware organizer stored at the top of my a closet. Although it's almost filled up and I'll need a 2nd one soon, it works well for me. It makes my closet smell of all kinds of random flavors too, lol.

I currently use a wooden box I bought from a craft store. Its a flip top with a latch, I stained it, cut some foam board pieces to separate different "categories" of flavors and slapped a Wizard Labs sticker on top. I have similar box for my juices that are steeping.

User Cobalt Blue bottles. You'll find them at Amazon in multiple sizes. Cobalt Blue (or Amber). Those prevent UV light from entering the bottle and keep the nicotine/flavoring from degrading.

Also, if there's an Ikea near by, get the SNIKA box set. These Boxes are great for adding further protection from light and/or hard hits as they are made of metal.

I'd say Cobalt Blue bottles with a set of SNIKA is the best way to go to store any e-liquids.

I use an old fly fishing display box. Just took the horizontal ribs out and it works great :)

That's great, pretty much exactly what I'd like to have - if it had some kind of door to stop light getting to it. Much better than the nail varnish stands as its hard to read the labels on those.
