Love some Gambit or Mother's Milk but tired of paying a buck a ml? Then you are in the right place my friend. First, did you use the sidebar and search feature? There are also specific clone threads linked in the sidebar. If these have turned up dry, then please post your request for a clone recipe here.
However, you should know that most of the experienced users no longer buy commercial juice. Again, why pay $1/ml when you can mix amazing juice for less than 1/10th of that? Anyway, if you'd like to request a clone, this is the proper place to do it. This post will repeat monthly via AutoModerator.
Happy Mixing!
Milkman, lenola cream.
These and the challenge will be: only TFA lol.
Idc what it is as long as I can get me something close to the milkman. I'll be mixing up some random Strawberry and creams to keep me satisfied though.
Bombies Product X anyone?
I don't have a clone, but I'd love to see some discussion on product x.
Peach is definitely there, given the dryness I'd guess a touch of TFA juicy peach, but there's likely another peach in there that's a bit sweeter, like CAP. The description mentions stone fruits, which are peaches, nectarines, plums, apricots, and cherries (at least the ones listed when I googled them). I could see nectarine and apricot being components of this juice, as they would blend well with peach.
For the sugary kick, I'm somewhat stuck. It could be a combination of fruit flavors, but I'm leaning towards an additive of some sort. It may just be a slightly higher percentage of sweetener, but I've only used TFA's cotton candy and I don't believe that's it.
I gotta wait for my TfA and CAP orders to come in later this week, but I'm guessing a blend of TFA juicy peach and CAP peach (peaches and cream perhaps?), some apricot, a little less nectarine, and sweetener to start. We'll see where that goes.
What about FA White Peach? I just got some in but haven't worked with it a whole lot.
Maybe try sucralose for the sweetener? It lingers on my lips like other juices that I know for sure use it.
Upside by the Schwartz. And Froyo by nicks blissful brews
I tried the nicks juice the other day, its definitely fw yogurt and fw blueberry with a little bit of tfa juicy peach. I havent tried to clone it so I dont have percentages but Im almost positive thats what their using. Their other flavors suck though haha. I still think schwartz is using FA yogurt because they taste and smell identical, but fa yogurt contains diacetyl
Upside-9% FW Yogurt, 8% Strawberry ripe TFA, add (1%)Sweet cream TFA to taste. I mix it 60-70%vg. 3 days cold steep with a good a shake a day. It's not perfect but it's good enough for me now and tweaking it with each batch. Keeps me from paying the premium price. Friends that have tried it love it, but they never tried upside either.
Sounds good. I have CAP sweet strawberry and FA strawberry though
Captain oorah by indigo
Really, any of Indigo's tobacco juices. I'd kill for an Eastwood clone. It's the only juice I still buy 120mL bottles of.
Honestly, I wouldn't mind just their tobacco base. I saw a thread earlier with a guy that said Inawera tobacco symphony was close, but I'm not sure how accurate that is since I've never tried it. Do you have these flavors?
Breakfast at Teleos - The Milk and Lost Art - Cottontail cream
Also wanting Breakfast at Teleos - "The Milk"
its definitely a combination of tfa fruit circles at a low percentage and vanilla custard v1 from capellas is in there too. Sweet cream, marshmallow. Ive gotten close I just havent written down the percentages, personally it gets old to me really quickly.
^ 2nd'ing this. V1 Capella's vanilla custard is somewhere around 2-3%. I agree though, I go anosmic to it fast. That and the rampant use of EM in it gunks the hell out of my coils, and to me, kills what would have been a better flavor without it.
Churros and ice cream by one up. I've been trying but haven't even come close.
One juice or two? What'd you try? I think FW makes a curro, and they definitely make a vanilla bean ice cream. Might be that easy. Sounds tasty.
It's one juice. They actually make variant with strawberry that's pretty tasty as well. I wasn't aware FW made a churro. I'll def be grabbing some now.
their churro is bomb but lacks depth, it needs more pastry to it, FW cinnamon roll pairs really well with it to give it that doughy taste its missing. That and vanilla bean ice cream from TFA is fantastic. And it will get you close to traditional vapes fried ice cream flavor (i forget what its called)
Screwberry by The Steam Factory. Here's a profile and a review. Unfortunately I'm taste and smell challenged so I cannot describe it in any meaningful way other than amazingly fruity delicious and refreshing. I would be sooooo happy if someone cloned it so I could DIY the bejezus out of it forever and ever and stop paying those ridiculous prices.
Mike Literus' Screwberry Clone
TFA Strawberry ripe 10%
TFA Champagne 4%
LA cream cheese icing 4%
FA fresh cream 2%
Coval Discovery. Described as 'sweet, sticky rice dough coated in green tea ice cream.'
I taste a hint of sweet, like caramel, and dry. There's more going on but I can't quite pinpoint anything else. :(
Nillionaire by Independant Vape - insanely crisp rainbow sherbet
Liturgy by Tally Ho - by far the best cheesecake I've ever vaped
Anyone have any experience with these? I've gotten pretty close to the Nillionaire but not spot on by any means. Would be glad to compare notes and recipes with someone else working on it. I'll give my first born for a spot on of Liturgy!! Haha
I guess it won't be easy to find someone who has the recipe for this but I'm looking to make a clone of the Charlie Noble Admiral Reserve Good Cookie. if you have that you'll be a god to me :D
How is it? I've only had Blue Bay, Sollers Pointe and just bought Charlie's Custard. I'm still looking for a clone of Charlie Noble's Sollers Pointe and Charlie's Custard. I have yet to see any decent clone recipes for any of the Charlie Noble juices. I tried for a while to make a clone of Sollers but I just couldn't get it anywhere close so I gave up.
Idk if you've seen this/nor have I tried it, but I saw this on ELR a while back.

Blue Bay is the one I hate the most from their range. The good cookie is a sweet vape with a hint of chocolate chips taste and a really nice cookie base. I have tried all 4 liquids from the admiral reserve and I have to say that I am really liking them. But my preference goes to the good cookie.
Could anyone help me figure out the Legendary by Vapor Haze? I think it's this citrus delight recipe but not quite sure
I really like Propaganda's Subliminal it is described as "Razzmatazz Candy" so I am assuming raspberry, pomegranate (may be?), sweetener, sour. Anyone have anything close to this or tried to clone it before? I searched the side bar for Propaganda - Subliminal and didn't get any results. I would be very greatfull for any replies :)
I'm new to this sub. I'm desperate for a Teleos The Milk clone. I don't mix myself but I'd be more than willing to buy (hope that's OK rules wise)
I found this recipe online while shopping for (more) The Milk.
http://e-liquid-recipes.com/recipe/136066/Breakfast+at+Teleos+clone
The commenters seem to dig it. One comment has a variation (fruit loops and lemon) that also sounds good. I've been looking for a cheaper alternative. I buy The Milk like I'm rich and I'm not.
Does anyone know of a cheaper alternative? I know the question has been asked on the ECR sub quite a few times with no results but maybe there's been some development. Yes, I'm desperate.
Edit - just realized I can buy that mix by clicking the wrench icon. So I did! But if anyone has another The Milk clone they'd like to share, I'm here with PayPal. Cheers.
Imperial by Must Vape. I am completely lost trying to figure it out myself. Thus far, I have tried Double RY4 with a little bit of Burley to get an idea before messing with toffee and caramel. Thanks in advance!
Keystone Vapor's Dutch Chocolate Milk anyone? This thing is delicious!
I need this one too anyone have anything close?
;-)
Im looking for a Slstce Truth clone. It's described as "The name speaks for itself, Truth is a bold blood orange mix with wild berries covered in sweet honey. This reminds us of cool California summer nights. The mix of tart orange and sweet berries is smoothed out by the honey which adds a nice flavor"
I'm just getting into DIY; I've realized I can't keep up with the cost of ejuice since I used to roll my own cigs with pipe tobacco. I've got everything ordered and am just waiting on my flavorings to come in. For the most part I'll be happy messing around with recipes on here, but I feel like I won't be able to do without one juice, sasquatch from VTNW. hands down the best liquid I've had, I'm hooked bad. I've done a ton of searching but haven't found anything where people agree it's super close. I know it's supposed to be at least tfa hazelnut and tfa blueberry wild. Seems there's some controversy on the rest. Any comments are greatly appreciated thank you!!!!
I feel like this is a long shot because I've never heard anybody talk about them. I'm hoping someone has tried to clone LJ eSmokes' Crunch Berries or Blue Saloon. I love their Crunch Berries more than anyone else's because it has almost no berry in it whatsoever; it's almost all that toffee cereal. The Blue Saloon is too complex for my newb palette to describe. Here's their site's description: "The smooth sweetness of fresh blueberry mixed with hearty grains and mysterious dark notes make this a very fulfilling and relaxing vape. Created by the original (UpStomp), this vibrant flavor is sure to please!"
If anyone can show that they have a proven track record and experience, I'd totally be willing to pay for a bottle so they can study it.
Thanks!
I don't have an actual Cap'n Crunch recipe, but from what I've noticed you could make a juice very close using FA cookie, FW Graham Cracker, TFA Bavarian Cream, and FW Hazelnut; with flavor priority in that order.
Thank you so much! I've asked so many people directly and nobody had anything helpful to say before now. I might just order those and get to work. The only one I have that's close to those is TFA Graham Cracker Clear. You'd still recommend FW?
FW has a more caramel/spiced flavor than TFA graham cracker clear. It's possible TFA may work better, and I wouldn't be afraid to give it a shot. I can mix up a batch when I get home from work and let you know a basic starting point before you go and buy all those flavors.
It's possible the juice could need some CAP marshmallow to smooth out the roughness of cookie, hazelnut, and graham cracker. But like I said, I'll make a batch when I get home in 6 hours and I'll update you.
A little late, but I just mixed up a basic idea for Cap'n, or as I call it, Mouthglass. It's close, but could use some tweaking.
-
5% FA cookie
-
3% TFA bavarian cream
-
2% TFA caramel candy
-
2% TFA graham cracker clear
-
1% FW hazelnut
-
2d/10mL FA MTS vapewizard
First thing I'd do is make it without hazelnut, see if that gets it closer.
I don't know how many people here have had it, but my favorite vape has been Permafrost by 5280 vapes. I got into DIY to try to clone it, but have been messing around with a lot of other flavors instead since I don't have a huge flavor library.
Advertised as a mixed berry and mint type of flavor, it more reminds me of the trident strawberry-kiwi gum with the gooey middle. This stuff's awesome and if any of you guys have tried and have ideas on where to start I'd appreciate it greatly.
I've been trying to clone Thor by Ragnarok. Can't seem to get it down. I know for certain it has some sort of cake base with Raspberry and Blueberry, but the rest I'm unsure of. Still can't even get the cake base right; I'm going to try Cakestone next time.
Anyone had any experience with this juice?
Kings Cream by Darkside Creations, described as a watermelon bubblegum with touch of cream. Can't find clone recipe anywhere, or even any discussion about attempting it, yet its fantastic and a fairly popular canadian liquid.
It's definitely got Lorann Watermelon, just can't pick out the other notes. I tried lorann bubblegum but I don't think its correct, unless in really small percentage.
Seen rumors posted about it being a mix of 28 flavors. I find that highly unlikely, at least that was my impression of the real thing.
Below is what I have now. The gum seems wrong, adds a flavor like gum that has been chewed and lost its flavor. And I think it's missing something that makes the flavor more full/rich.
9% to 12% Watermelon (LA)
1.5% Bubblegum (LA)
4% Sweet Cream (TFA)
I could be wrong, but I felt like this one had some Oba Oba (FA) in it. It's a very strange, pink-marshmellowy tasting flavour with some tobacco(?) or other blunt tastes on the exhale. The first hit of it as a single flavour, I thought 'Ooh, this is in King's Cream' but that's as far as I went with it.
Boosted by Boosted. I haven't tried any of the ones on eliquid-recipes, though since I'm still waiting on some flavors to come in.
Saved this from a while ago. Havent tried it though. Credit for this recipe to /u/Awwsteve
Here is a clone recipe for Boosted that I like 4% dairy 5% van cupcake 7% ripe strawberry
As a disclaimer, this is not my recipe. I found it on another forum as a Boosted clone but don't remember where. I also have never tried Boosted myself and others have said that this recipe is not comparable. I think it tastes good and I do use this recipe with the addition of TFA Lychee as a clone for Agent P.
Here is a recipe posted by /u/anotherpyramid in Clone Recipe Thread 3
Boosted Clone
Bavarian Cream(TPA) 3%
Cheesecake(Graham Crust) (TPA) 2%
Cheesecake(TPA) 3%
Dairy Milk (TPA) 1%
Strawberry Ripe (TPA) 7%
Sweet Strawberry(CAP) 3%
Sweet Cream(TPA) 3%
Vanilla Custard v1(CAP) 2%
I've heard some bad things about cheesecake TPA tasting too sour and overpowering recipes so I haven't bought it. I wonder if NY Cheesecake (Cap) could work instead?
I've been looking high and low for Alloy Blends Electrum Blonde. Nothing I have come up with has come close.
Profile per GiantVapes: Creamy, clean, rich, and smooth, Blonde from Alloy Blends’ Electrum line is the perfect, deliciously accurate, vanilla custard blend. Mildly sweet, and just a bit eggy like a proper custard, with notes of a myriad of different vanillas.
Been trying to clone windmill by roybot sauce. I can't figure out what lemon he uses (the base seems to be a standard strawberry cheesecake). Do I taste lime? This juice has a beautiful way of separating the lemon from the base on enhale.
Lemon sicily from FA or CA might be what youre looking for, its good at seperating flavors so you can taste them individually more. I haven't tried the juice youre talking about but that might be a god place to start. Capella's lemon lime adds a interesting lemon lime note as well, kinda tastes like sprite though Im not sure if thats what youre looking for
Perpetual Check - Five Pawns
this seems to be on the impossible side of things, as noone has found a good fig flavor?
Any Hints?
ANY elements flavours. Keylime pie and Pink Lemonade definitely!
Im almost 100% sure their pink lemonade is FW'S single flavor pink lemonade smells exact, Im working on a clone of their key lime cookie Im almost positive it has loraans key lime and capellas sugar cookie, maybe a bit of fa cookie. Ill post when more flavorings come in.
Not so much a clone, but I recently tried Corn Flakes by Stout Vape Co and it was damn near the best vape I've ever had. If anybody has ANY suggestions on how to even start on that kind of flavour, I'm all ears.
Americans have corn flakes right?
It was like eating dry frosties, which for non UK-ers are sugar coated cornflakes. It had a hint of creaminess but it definitely wasn't a big "cereal" vape with the milk and everything.
It's not available in the EU and I need more of it inside me right now.
If only to stop me and my poor lactose intolerant baby stomach giving in and binging on a giant bowl of frosties.
Yeah, Americans have corn flakes. lol Kellog's started in the States. Frosties is what we call Frosted Flakes. It's amazing the naming differences between here and there. Really caught me off guard my first trip to England. And what do you people have against cookies? There's more to life than shortbread, digestives and oreos. ;)
We love cookies. Cookies in the UK are quite often called "American style" and are big things (like 6 inches across) and ideally, soft. We sometimes have small chocolate chip style things that are called cookies and look like cookies but totally aren't. They're just biscuits having an identity crisis.
Biscuits are small crunchy things like digestives, Oreos etc.
That's funny. To get a soft cookie here, you have to go somewhere they make them fresh, and most people don't do that.
But yeah, biscuits are what I mean. We don't differentiate. It's all cookies. I went down a biscuit aisle at a Tesco and it was nothing like the comparable cookie aisle at an American market. We have cookies of all different flavors and varieties and brands. I tried to find a good pic but all of them were pretty oreo dominant, since here, Oreos come in a about 1000 different varieties, none of which you're missing out on.
The use of artificial ingredients here means almost all junk food I had over there is so much better than what we get here. Your kit kats are to die for compared to an American one. I actually import a box once a year.
Did you find anything more on this? I love this one too. The primary flavor is Acetylpyrazine which is a Corn type flavor.
I tried a mix of: 3% Acetylpyrazine 12% Sweetener
and it came pretty close. Was lacking in that toasted corn flavor of the original, so I was thinking of adding a little more AP, and trying to find something with that toastiness, like either a butter or Graham Crackers. What I like about Stouts is that it's not overly sweet, but the AP is really strong so I need to raise it 1% at a time.
I think this one should be pretty simple. It seems we're close.
Anything from Merkury's line, but specifically: Nectar, Cartoons, Carnival, or Dori Cake.
5280 Vapor's Elevation Elixir- The Life.
Whit E. Octopus- 1794.
Dr. Stanley Clark's Original Snake Oil. Love this stuff (description below).
The main flavours here are citrus fruits with a hint of a sugar coating, The citrus is balanced with a background note of anise, which is mellow and rounded in flavour. A good strong throat hit on the inhale but then you get an unexpected coolness on the exhale, A really detailed and well balance e-liquid that will keep you going back for more
'Kizmet' by The Steam Factory.
It's supposed to be 'tart apple and pear', on the inhale I get hints of dragonfruit, peach(?) and pear, with the exhale dominated by a tart, bright green apple.
I've tried every green apple and pear flavouring I can find, with zero success. I recently got a ton of TFA quince to play with, as I think it could mold one of the apples into something similiar.. gold to anyone who can put me in the right direction, if I could get a juice similiar to this I'd never vape anything else.
Weaponized "MP5" PomeCran from Thunderhead Vapor. this is my preferred ADV, I figure there may be a hint of marshmallow as a sweetener, and the cranberry is tart and perfumey similar to TFA cranberry. Not sure if anyone here is familiar or attempted a clone yet, but any input regarding flavors/ratios would be most appreciated!
Blue Waffles by /u/vaportrails_nw
I loved it and he discontinued it. I'm pretty positive it uses TFA Waffle but I'm at a loss as to what kind of blueberry he used.
My two ADV's were that and Sasquatch. I still order Sasquatch from him (support a good business after all) and I loved switching back and forth between the two.
Hey guys looking for ILLPLUMINATI: Knights Templar = Freshly picked strawberries dripped in a vanilla bean cream. -AND- Bloodlines = Hand picked nectarines drizzled in a hand whipped vanilla mousse.
Hi! I'm new to reddit and new to DIY e-juice! My absolute favorite vape is Pink Meadow by Uncle Junk's Genius Juice but it's getting entirely too expensive! I've literally searched everywhere and can not find a clone and I'm clueless on where to start!! I was hoping someone here could be of help? PLEASE!? :)
