I'm trying to find a recipe for green tea ice cream but cannot find one. I am new to DIY ejuice, and haven't completed my first order. If anyone can point me towards the direction of a good recipe, or share their own I'd highly appreciate it.
I am working on one and jakeabbot has been working on this for a while as well. I would contact him about this, he will probably see this and post. It's a really hard mix to nail down just right.
You rang? Yes, I am working on a recipe right now and it is proving difficult. I will say that FA green tea is far better than TFA.
Still experimenting with a good ice cream base at the moment. I can't stand TFA VBIC so that is pretty much out of the question for me as a main part of the base.
/u/Enyawreklaw posted a video on his strawberry ice cream recipe and has ended up tasting pretty authentic to me. It may work out -strawberry +green tea?

I haven't tried his recipe yet since I just now got some tfa strawberry but it is on my list to make in a last ditch effort to see if vbic can taste good to me.
I tried something similar on my first iteration of green tea ice cream with tfa green tea and vbic and it was not good at all. Feel free to give it your own shot though since taste is very subjective and you may love it.
Start with fa Vienna cream and fa fresh cream at a 2:1 ratio (Vienna:fresh) and add to it from there.
If it were me, I would first find a good green tea flavor (I wish I could help), then find the percentage where it tastes like green tea. Then use TFA vanilla bean icecream, starting at 2% until you like it. If it needs creamyness, try some TFA bavarian cream and or some TFA malted milk. Id assume the green tea flavor will be very light, and easily overtaken by the vanillas and creams, so take your percentages up slowly.
