Juice gone wrong?

Hello. I make a lot of juice and I haven't had this problem before but recently I gave my friend some juice I made for him and he told me that it tastes "burnt" and I think he is referring to the nicotine. What would be the cause of this?

He has shaken it vigorously and changed out the juice to test his ecig. The color seems fine, and doesn't look seperated.

More than likely it's on your friends end and no fault of yours. Too high a wattage/volts, failure to proper pre-soak the wicks, dirty coil..

I'm no expert at diy, but i have experienced some flavors giving a burnt taste at higher wattage, even if the wick is fully saturated. Turning the power down solved the problem for me.

Bad, or too high nicotine%, only ever tastes peppery to me.

The burnt taste can occur if you heat the nic while mixing it; once it's mixed it seems fine but that's what I've noticed.

Was it a vanilla, cream, or custard flavor? Those mostly taste like burnt plastic to me.

I vape these at 125w regulated and there's absolutely no burnt taste

Even at 10w, these flavor types taste like burning plastic to me. It's my taste buds, not the eliquid. Just thought that maybe his friend might have the same issue.

Have him eliminate the chance that it's the atomizer by getting it rebuit/changing the coil. It could be a hot spot if it's an RDA.

If he is running high wattage, and there is any sweetener or flavors like FW yellow cake, which seem to gunk up/burn up on coils, it could come off as burnt tasting.
