This is a little weird but I can't figure it out so maybe some of you can shed some light.
Earlier today a liquid manufacturer posted to a facebook group I'm in about a liquid they had. I'd never heard of them so I casually perused the page. The claim posted by one of the associates of the company was " It has 15 base flavors that are then broken down to over 162+ flavors" which makes absolutely no sense to me.
Then I started looking at the cell phone screen shot reviews on the aforementioned facebook page and reviews are claiming things like on one hit it tastes like pickles then raspberries on the next hit then Dr. Pepper on the next etc; Which makes even less sense to me.
The only thing I could think of would be a research chem that acted as a glycoprotein like dulcificum (the miracle berry that changes sweet to sour) but it would stand to reason that assuming a recipe uses 15 various extracts it would ultimately create one single homogeneous flavor regardless of extracts used which then would be interpreted differently after the glycoprotein was used, but even then dulcificum wouldn't change the flavor multiple times, it would be interpreted one way every time. I looked for dulcificum extract in pg and vg and couldn't find anything. I would also think that you would go anosmic while chain vaping it so how would you work around that? The company in question also has zero web presence and very little marketing outside of local B&M's it seems so I couldn't find anymore out.
So...does anyone know of a chem extract that replicates the product description or have any insight?
edit: looks like the berry's glycoprotein isn't heat stable and cooking it denatures it so it wouldn't work in vaping, so miracle berry extract is out.
Yeah definitely wouldn't be able to vape glycoproteins or proteins in general. It is probably just a complicated flavor and they hype it up by saying some BS.
THIS^ its probabaly just some dude that worked at a vape shop and mixed all of their fruits together and now their hyping the shit out of it
Did you watch the videos on the Facebook page? If what you say is true...there may be no hope for the human race. I really don't want to believe people are that stupid.
I did, after watching a couple of them I hear lemon a lot , lemon Sicily works pretty well at "separating" the flavors so you can taste them individually. But Ive worked at a vape shop for over 4 years now and one thing I have learned. The hype is almost never real, although I will say I am intrigued
Sounds like quince + touches of 14 other fruits + an acid of some sort, like malic, that can change the flavor over time. The direct change is probably due to how much juice on the wick and temperature of the coil. Also things like habitation and lemon being much stronger with a hotter coil. The guy seemed to get grape at first then lemon over and over.

I know exactly what it is. I'm working on such a flavor and expect a video. It's just a high vg juice with the nic preblended, then the flavorings layered into it. No shaking. This allows each flavor to to independently come forward depending on what part of the liquid is dripped. My flavor doesn't taste like pickles or dr.pepper though. They're using too many different flavors together.
I can't really see that working unless it is in some sort of inertia and motion nullifying container, because simply moving the liquid from place to place will cause mixing.
Interesting concept, and I assume it would work (kinda) for a minute anyway, in a small bottle that didn't get moved around much.
Put it in the mail and it'll be thoroughly mixed by the time it gets from A to B though.
I've made a mixed berry changing flavor, and a lemon-lime changing flavor and they seemed to work quite well...for a little bit of time. Maybe a few days. Then it slowly becomes one. I used a >98% ratio to keep as much separation as possible. Playing with some stuff to cause more drastic flavor change and to keep it longer. The novelty wears off fast though.
I'm the creator of this juice, if you look me up on Facebook I can get you a bottle out, it's more than a few fruits and there is only flavoring,pg,Vg, nic and it's not high Vg line or high pg,, it's set just right. When you think about and or are looking at the flavors that are in the Botle to mix it you are look to lightly, you need to look deeper beyond the bottle. That's the most I can tell you.
