TFA Caramel Cappuccino - Suggestions?
submitted over 10 years ago by prophetfxb

I just got a bottle of Caramel Cappuccino from TFA. Made a small mixture and tried it and it tastes like buttered popcorn. This is not a really good flavor. Does anyone have any suggestions on this flavor? It seems like this is more of an enhancement than a base. How are you guys using this?

I only use approximately a drop for a 15ml. It's extremely strong. Definitely not a base.

Thats the impression im getting as well. Not really sure why it tastes like butter either. I tried to mix some chocolate in with it to cover up the buttery flavor and it just made a bad thing worse. I'm sure its useful somehow.

Try adding drops per 15ml to a cream base with little/no caramel or sugar type flavors. It's got the bads above 1% so it'll affect the overall richness at low %s.

I am going to make a new mixture with it as I have an entire 30ml of the stuff now. I definitely added too much. ~.5 ml to a 10ml mix was extremely unpleasant even with the chocolate.

Thanks for the info.

I usually mix 1 drop per 10 ml and yes, it has that milkish taste, but if I let it steep overnight it's usually gone.

i'm also 1 drop per 10ml...i also do 1 drop of fresh cream per 10ml also. i mix with a heated stir plate and it came out good so maybe it's just a steeping issue for you.

"tastes like buttered popcorn" or "tastes like doritos" is a symptom of too much acetyl pyrazine.

Try mixing at a much lower %.

Popular flavor with people I sell to. I also really like it, and I HATE coffee. I use @ 1 drop per 10ml of finished juice.

The smell of this induced my gag reflex. Had to throw it away in 2 layers of ziploc bags.

Add one drop to a 2% 15ml bottle of FA Tiramisu and you get a nice creamy mellow coffee vape with a single tangy coffee note. I also add dulce de leche sometimes for a caramel frappe.

DO NOT SPILL IT. I've spilt it not once but twice. Performance anxiety.
