Hey all, I order my PG and VG in large amounts and bought some 200ml bottles today with the pointed tips (looks like a clear mustard bottle) for easier handling. The plastic looks like the same semi clear plastic bottles seen on many ejuice sites. They had a little sticker that said not for food though. I have not seen any e juice bottles labeled specifically "for food" are these bottles okay for storing my base?
Uhh what are they intended for then?
Probably paint
Yes they were. Their stores are fucking huge and I wasn't walking all over that shit so I just asked, she brought me to them I looked at the size quick and took a couple packs.
Right on, hobby lobby is crazy. You're probably fine storing vg and pg in them as long as you keep them cool and out of direct sunlight. If there's a Mrs Cooks by you, or another speciality cooking store, they should have similar bottles that are food safe. Got one with a twist off cap and it fits on my 120ml bottles :D
Here is a pic of them: http://imgur.com/Ad3MizY
(I got one set of 200ml and two sets of 150ml)
I paid 7 bucks for them at a hobby lobby less than 2 miles from me which beats online shopping for me, just hope these are safe to use.
You can get similar bottles specifically for food at walmart for $1.99. I got a bunch for homemade sauces/dressings when I cook.
Is that the red and yellow two pack? I've bought the white squeeze bottles for 98¢ each.
The reason that sticker is there is simply because there is some regulation or certification out there that mandates plastic bottles be a certain way for sanitation or whatever and it was easier for this manufacturer to not do that and label them not safe for food.
I returned them ( with no receipt props hobby lobby) and found similar bottles that were specifically food safe and BPA free right next door at Joann fabric or whatever the fuck they are called now. A little more expensive but they had more sizes and peace of mind.
