What are your favorite single and two flavor recipes?
submitted over 10 years ago by turtlepowr89

Right now mine is TFA Pineapple at 6% with 1% TFA Coconut Extra.

I do also love TFA Cinnamon Danish at 12%

So what are your favorites, and what would you recommend for someone who loves fruity tropical recipes as well as some sweet desserts?

3% FA Fuji(or fiji, I can never remember that fucking name) and 1% FA Liquid Amber.

8% TFA strawberry ripe.

What does liquid Amber do to Fuji. That's my favorite Apple flavor.

by skiddlzninjaover 10 years agoFrugivore

You know when you leave an apple out for like 30 minutes, and it starts to brown where you bought it? The flavor also changes due to the sugars oxidizing. liquid amber adds that taste to fuji.

I've tried it before. I recall it adding a mellow cider-esque note.

Is this one recipe? Or two separate recipes?

by Vapespinover 10 years ago

Sorry, one recipe. you can play with this one...adding creams etc. more or less of each

Heard. I gotta get some TFA banana cream. Lorann's isn't really doing it for me (even though I love nana cream) b

Im considering this for my first diy. Im trying to avoid juices that gunk up my coil, does this vape clean?

2 points

by Vapespinover 10 years ago

IMO this is a great first diy choice and it vapes really clean. I have had best results using it in my kanger subtank mini. It is just really really great out of that tank!

1 points

by crackillsover 10 years ago

Thanks, it sounds great. Im about to upgrade to a regulated mod and subtank so I wanted to be able to chew thru some juice without going broke. I hate flavors that turn to syrup when vaped. Ordering these asap.

How close to actual apple is the fuji? I've been trying to make a green apple flavor that's more like an actual apple, but everything I mix tastes like apple candy.

by matt-iceover 10 years ago

To me, Fuji tastes like the apples you would taste in a strudel, I love it

1 points

by Groebe-Wan-Kenobiover 10 years ago

For a more authentic green apple check out Capella Green Apple at 2-3%.

1 points

by drpeppertastegoodover 10 years ago

I still get the candy taste from it. CAP green apple is the closest I've gotten though mixed with some other flavors. But they all keep that candy taste. My favorite juice of all time is from a local b&m and it tastes exactly like biting a granny smith.

Simple Custard

  • 8% Vanilla Custard V1 (CAP)
  • 2% Cheesecake (LA)

I have 32oz of this mixed up and curing, its my main ADV. It doesnt overpower the taste buds so no vape tongue.

2 points

by onmywaydownnowover 10 years ago

I only have v2, think it would be good after a week or two?

Edit: word

by To0nMaNover 10 years ago

Honestly i cant tell you, the smell of the butyric acid makes me nauseous. I can tolerate very few flavorings that contain BA. I never even got around to using it, i opened the 13ml bottle, took a whiff and dumped it.

Sorry i couldnt be more helpful.

2 points

by HocusKrokusover 10 years ago

I've done this with the v2 at 8% and CAP Ny cheesecake at 3% but LA is a better cheesecake I hear. V2 definitely needs a bit of breathing and steeping. I'd say probably 2 weeks to get it going well.

DIY Ejuice gave me a 3 mil sample of Hard Candy ( Jolly Rancher) with my last order. I did not think I would like it but it surprised me and at the moment is my favorite single of a sweet candy flavor. I mostly do tobacco and coffee flavors so I have limited experience with candy flavors but I have been partially converted I guess.

I use them as well, so far they gave me gummy and blue ice both I liked.

Tfa pineapple at 8% is perfect every time to me. And if I want to get classy with it 2% capella strawberry ripe (personally I throw .5% Tfa sour in it, but it doesn't have to have it). Hot water bath for 20 minutes and a good shake and it's ready to go.

1 points

by onmywaydownnowover 10 years ago

Pineapple is a really great flavor. Try adding some coconut to it, I love it. (:

1 points

by drpeppertastegoodover 10 years ago

Yeah its a really tasty flavor. I am not huge on the coconut and pineapple mix, but I bet they do mix up well.

For a single flavor, 4% FA Fuji.

Two flavor, 6% TFA Pineapple 8% Bavarian Cream

by Ashnaxxover 10 years ago

I personally use a two flavor menthol whenever I have a cold. TFA apple, strawberry, or Watermelon at between 5 and 7%, depending on the day, and at least 3% menthol to cool off my throat.

by HocusKrokusover 10 years ago

CAP NY Cheesecake around 6% with TFA Bavarian cream at 3% for two flavors, or CAP Blueberry Cinnamon Crumble at 5% by itself.

1 points

by turtlepowr89over 10 years ago

Does that Cap blueberry cinnamon crumble taste like I think it does?

2 points

by HocusKrokusover 10 years ago

I think it's fantastic. Pretty accurate, more like a blueberry muffin with a touch of a cinnamon struesel type thing going on

1 points

by turtlepowr89over 10 years ago

Just ordered 30ml of Cap Blueberry Cinnamon Crumble. Sounds delicious, thanks for the suggestion.

1 points

by HocusKrokusover 10 years ago

Yup! I find it doesn't neee much added. Sometimes I toss in a 1 or 2% topper like vanilla to add depth, but it's pretty solid on it's own, IMO

1 points

by turtlepowr89over 10 years ago

Do you think TFA Sweet Cream would be an appropriate additive? It's all I have in that regard.

havent tried this one in forever but

  • tfa orange cream - 15%

  • tfa bavarian cream - 5%

tasted amazing last time i had it but it probably needs to be adjusted

1 points

by FunkMast3rover 10 years ago

way less of both. I did it at your percentages and holy shit was it perfumey. strong... but perfumey. I have a bottle curing to see how it blends but as of right now dear fucking lord.

For a shake and vape id drop bav to 3 and orange cream to 12

Is that one bitter to you? A while back I was experimenting with getting a subzero clone going and kept finding any combination of those was bitter. If it is kind if bitter, try adding just a touch of vanillin.

My ADV is just TPA/TFA Strawberry at 6%. So delicious.

1 points

by bagelchipsover 10 years ago

Do you find TFA strawberry to "max out" around 6%? I made a mix of 10% TFA strawberry and 2% CAP Golden Pineapple that I thought would be great and was very muted after a shake and vape. I'm not sure if I over flavored it, or maybe it just needs to steep for a while.

1 points

by FlyWithTheCarsover 10 years agoFrugivore

> Do you find TFA strawberry to "max out" around 6%?

No, it's just the percentage I prefer. I use a dripper, so I don't need that much flavor concentration in my liquids.

>or maybe it just needs to steep for a while.

Well, it defenitely changes it's flavor over time. I personally love it freshly mixed, but I also know guys who let it steep for 1-2 weeks.

by turtlepowr89over 10 years ago

Speaking of tobacco vapes, has anyone come up with a good light menthol tobacco recipe yet? My wife is dying for one, she used to smoke Camel Menthols.

1 points

by debacolover 10 years ago

In terms of menthol... start first with a good tobacco base, then I would add a tiny amount of Flavorah's Creme de Mint. It's much less medicin-y tasting than other straight menthol flavors and the chocolate notes go well with tobacco flavors.
