As promised: Cussing Strawberry
submitted over 10 years ago by loveableterror

8% TFA Strawberry

2% TFA Sweet Cream

4% TFA French Vanilla Creme

3% CAP Vanilla Custard V2

Steep time is 3 weeks, but can be crock pot steeped for 12 hours at warm to speed it up, although time is the best one. This is a very popular flavor in my retail line, and the shop owners dig it as their favorite so I'm happy to share!

Lol, glad I could come through, I'm already back at work, don't let anyone tell you this juice game is easy, seeking it is easy, it's the bottling, talking to shops and keeping up with demand... It can be killer but it is fun!

I was unaware of french vanilla creme. I do have some french vanilla though. I'll mix it up, thanks for sharing!

According to TPA, "This flavor is our French Vanilla Deluxe re-worked to contain no Acetoin or Acetyl Propionyl (no Diketones)."

I'll just use French Vanilla Deluxe and CAP Vanilla Custard V1. :P

Thanks for the recipe OP. :)

French Vanilla Creme is quite a bit stronger than regular French Vanilla. You might want to try doubling up the FV and see how that goes. After I discovered FVC, I rarely used my FV anymore.

How about vs deluxe?

Sorry, can't help you there, I've never used TFA's FV Deluxe. However, if it's anything like other French Vanillas with diacetyl or AP, it's probably richer than the Creme or regular French Vanilla.

If you were going to use French Vanilla Deluxe in this recipe, try it at 2% and see how that tastes. I think it might be too overpowering if you use it at 4% if you're also using the CAP Vanilla Custard v2.

Very cool of you to share something you sell, thanks!

Side note, I'm digging these simpler Strawberry Custard recipes I've been seeing lately like Mustard Milk and this. Nice change of pace from "here's my great Strawberry Custard that has 30 ingredients, 40% flavoring, and takes two months to steep!"

I agree with you on the simpler recipes, and I'm especially liking creamy recipes that don't use Bavarian Cream as half the flavoring.

Thanks for posting! One question though: I have TFA's Bavarian Cream, Sweet Cream, French Vanilla Creme, Whipped Cream and Marshmallow but no CAP Vanilla Custard V2. Do you think I can substitute it with some combination of what I have and get a similar flavor?

Cut the cap in half and soon with whipped cream, add a touch of Bavarian as well too give it a creamier mouth feel

A+ Vapors. We don't have our independent site up but we do have our (admittedly very small) Facebook page up. It will have a lot more info soon

Do I put in the nicotine before or after putting it in a crock pot? Won't the nic oxidize or something? Sorry for my ignorance, I really wanna get this right. Also, I put this in a glass bottle, right?

I've put in before, and after. Before sends to mix it better and has never tested to low for me, just keep it on warm and watch those temps!

Anything I can sub for sweet cream?

What have you got?

I asked someone else in this thread but I figured I'll ask you too. I won't have French Vanilla cream, but I'll have the regular. Can I sub other creams and up the fv a little to compensate? I'm not too familiar with the cream mixes yet, I'm waiting on shipments to start mixing a lot more than I have been. The creams I'll have available are vanilla bean ice cream, vanilla swirl, marshmallow, vanillin, whipped cream, meringue, cream fresh, and sweet cream of course for the recipe. And coconut extra I guess. Any help would be awesome!

Just use standard FV as FVC.I like coconut, seriously. It is an awesome mix with fruits and cream

2 points

by loveableterrorover 10 years ago

And also try a touch of whipped with the FV to achieve the creaminess

by moonerdooderover 10 years ago

Thanks for the fast response! Yeah I'm not a fan of coconut, eating it that is. But from what I've heard I can appreciate what it'll do to juice. Thanks for the tips! I'm so excited to make this flavor and so much more. The waiting game for vape mail sucks.

Trust me I know... Multiply it by about 500 bucks and you can see why small vendors get stressed sometimes. Lol

Can I sub the TFA Strawberry with TFA Ripe Strawberry or CAP Sweet Strawberry?

Figures I never have the right strawberry!

1 points

by loveableterrorover 10 years ago

TFA ripe is fine, not cap sweet, I feel it makes the fruit to strong and overly sweet and doesn't let it be the accent flavor it should be in a creamy fruit flavor

by KeggsNAover 10 years ago

Awesome, gunna give it a whirl and try it out in 3 weeks! Thanks for posting!
