Nude nicotine diy Citrus Slap a winner
submitted over 10 years ago by DavefromMass

Ok folks got a quick review here about nude nicotines "citrus slap" flavor concentrate. I mixed this 70vg/30pg at 6mg nic, 5% concentrate. Steep time 5 days in the cabinet with no heat or mechanical mixing. The flavor is really clean. I'm getting orange, grapefruit and just a touch of lemon/lime on the exhale. Very smooth and very tasty. I recommend this concentrate to anyone who vapes heavy complex juices as their adv as an effective palette cleanser. I know personally that my tounge gets burned out on a juice no matter how good it is and I've found this flavor as a nice break between creamy sweet juices.

+1 for citrus slap as a pallette cleanser. I was sent a sample vial with my last order and it was premixed 70/30 3mg. Probably not an all day vape unless you're really into the flavors, but the flavor doesn't linger or significantly interfere with other flavors on my dripper.

Mine was actually pretty good, but had too much sweetener. I could taste it on my lips afterwards and it lingered on the wick and in my vulcan. I had to clean it out with some vodka to get the sweet taste to leave.

They sent me a sample ~~vile~~ vial of this stuff with one of my orders and it reminded me of dish soap. It was goddamned awful, imo. Dumped it out. Maybe it was too "concentrated?" I don't know much about this stuff but the flavor was lost on me in a big way. Nasty-- and I love citrus :[ edit not saying this to dump on em. chai tea explosion rocks my world regularly.

You may have given up too soon. I've found that many of the NN flavorings require a VERY LONG steep time before they lose their initial 'plastic' taste. It may be because they are VG based which doesn't carry flavor well, so even mixing it with PG to something like a 20/80 or 30/70 mix, it still can take a very long time for the flavors to fully disperse and blend right - some took a month or more and then finally the flavors started to shine through. Once they get there, most of their flavors are very nice. IMO.

What % did you mix it up at? What ratio? Curious, as I love citrus too and really want to try this haha

Your sample was a pre-mixed theoretically vapeable juice. They also sell it as a concentrated flavoring which of course needs to be diluted. It should have been directly vapeable, but I find it a bit strong and biting and bitter as a standalone, especially at first. It's got a lot of citrus 'rind' in it, which is also what gives it a more natural taste as opposed to a more candy-ish taste. But mixed with some other simpler fruits like Peach or Pear can smooth it out, or mixing it with at least some creams or custards makes it a smoother vape. But then, cream makes everything better ;-)

It had a heavy perfume taste before it steeped.

+1 got it as one of my samplers when I bought the kit a few months ago. So picked up a bigger bottle of it when I recently placed an order with them. I absolutely love it. Personally it could be an adv by itself.

I haven't sampled citrus slap, or if i did it was too early in my diying to remember... but they did send me a sample of um... that weird named one... "tamarin doh!" i think.

Anyway, that one tastes pretty identical to Space Jam's Starship.

Not sure which one you were saying is like Starship 1, but that's a Kiwi Custard. I don't see how you get that it's similar to either this Orange/Lime/Tangelo/Lemon citrus blend, or a Tamarind flavoring.

i could be thinking of cell block 4 ... it's been awhile since i've had either, but i recall tamarin doh being spot on one of them.

Cell Block Four is a Citrus Custard, so the citrus part may be like Citrus Slap. I don't know of any Tamarind flavored e-juices.

:D everyone at the lab is blushing /u/DavefromMass<3

5% is high though! We enjoy is at between 2.5-3.5% with ~1.5% sucralose.
