- FA Caramel - 3%
- FA Fuji - 2%
- FA Vienna Cream - 2%
- FA Fresh Cream - 1%
- TFA Bavarian Cream - 1%
- Ethyl Maltol - 1%
- Mixed at 70vg 30pg great after just an overnight steep
This recipe gives you a really sweet candy apple with some caramel and hints of vanilla. This recipe just makes sense, all the flavors are easy to understand. The Fuji is the apple note, the caramel is the caramel and candy note, the creams tone down that bite and offer a touch of vanilla, and the Bavarian cream just butters everything up a tad. The EM brings out a touch more sweetness. FA flavors are great because they don't require too much of a steep, and the nature of this recipe, you could vape right after mixing. I just recommend an overnight because it gives the cream some time to play out. You could tweak this recipe in many ways as well. Tone down the fuji and the caramel and up the creams and you have a candy apple ice cream, or add in some sour and a very small amount of lemon and you can give it much more of a tart and puckering bite. Other than that I hope you enjoy.
Looks fantastic, and I've got all of those flavors (for once, it feels like!). Mixing it up right now before crashing out, and I'll try it in the morning. Thanks for sharing! I've been vaping Cereal Milks all day today... I thought I was burned out on cereals, but I still really dig that one. :)
kind of off topic question here, but your percentages made me want to ask, I make my ADV with 9% peanut butter and 9% caramel, am I using way too much?
It's because they are using FA (flavourart). They are a lot more concentrated. I am assuming you are making your ADV with something like TFA? Your percents are fine it just all depends on the flavoring manufacturer.
I use TFA peanut butter heavily too in one of my recipes. Like around 7-8%. FA caramel you don't need to much of if you just want to add a brown sweetness. More of a caramel flavor then you can use around 3-4%.
Every now and then I get a hint of (what I recognize as) like a cayenne pepper type taste. Could this be coming from the caramel?
