Odd question but I need help. Flavoring related, not ejuice.
submitted over 10 years ago by Helfrd0771

I'm baking my wife a pie for mother's day. I was going to try and make homemade ice cream for the side.

I was thinking of adding some cap caramel (i only have v2) and maybe some tpa vanilla deluxe.

How much do I add? I'm lost.

(fyi Apple pie, with a side of caramel ice cream is what I'm going for)

I've never tried it but personally I would just add a couple drops to it for the first time. I'd prefer under flavored ice cream over too much at least.

I have tried flavors in with soda before. I would start with a few drops in a cup of something mildly sweet, and give it a try. Ramp it up until it gives you a good flavor and guess at the volume of ice cream and formulate.

You could experiment with your flavors in some whipped cream or cool-whip. Once you have the general idea of the ratios that are working, you can go from there.

Or, you can just go to the store and buy some damn ice cream. ;)

It was the whole homemade thing. After tonight I'm sticking with ejuice.

Yeah, I feel ya. I had these grand plans to make all of these amazing soda flavors and stuff. That didn't really work out all that well. I'm sticking to ejuice as well. LOL

Really, why? I wanted to make my own soft drinks with a soda stream, stevia, and flavor concentrates. Whats the hard part, the measuring?

Or you could just make/ buy some real caramel. :)
