The wait begins...
submitted over 10 years ago by TaurineYummy

I've been thinking about it for a couple of weeks and finally broke down and just placed a $100 order through myfreedomsmokes. I'm excited and nervous, can not wait for everything to get here. Wish me luck...

Keep it simple at first, in no time you will wonder why you didn't DIY sooner!

This... I started just a few weeks ago, once you get used to certain things, its easy, and the best part is not ever running out of juice again

Yes!! It's worth it. Just don't be like me in the beginning and over do it with your flavoring. And you might not make anything you consider "worthy" for a while. I like to say mine all tasted like 3rd rate thrift store juice (especially considering all the "premium" juice I was spoiled by prior). It'll get better and you'll get wiser. Just keep looking for ways to improve! May the juice be with you!!!! 👏🏻

Glancing at MFS, they don't offer sample sizes. Your next few orders will likely be large orders of new stuff you've never tried, so finding samples under $2 will give you access to more recipes for less money and less risk if you don't like something.. After you've mixed a few recipes and you know a flavor, restock in larger quantities for that price break.

The following I can vouch for (spent more than $100 that I don't regret :) and are easier on the wallet than MFS for beginners buying many new flavors.

  • bullcityvapor has FW and TPA for $1.75/10ml and good overall variety, sells FA in original packaging(!), and is an official VapersTek nic reseller (my fave nic). And they're cool enough to stock MMJ's line of premixes.

  • Wizardlabs has the best variety for TPA and is the only one that offers small CAP samples I know of. $1,49/8ml glass vials.

  • mamajsjuice has FA $1.50/3ml, $2/5ml, and $3/10ml. Grew out of community support and best service hands down. Comes in pink bubble wrap with love. Some great pre-mixed concentrates available.

  • ecigexpress's "signature" line is 100% rebottled TPA at good prices, good overall variety and prices of every brand

  • eliquidmart has 5ml FA samples $1.79/5ml and $3/12ml but can take a while to fill orders.

Looking at MFS some more... holy crap they are gouging like fucking crazy. MFS looks like a noob trap, no one shopping around would pay those prices for flavor concentrates. Where did you hear about them? Advert or word of mouth?

Is MMJ any good? At 5$ for 5ml it seems crazy

It's DIY without the recipe hassle... works for some people. I've tried and like the MJ4. As far as tasting somebody else's mix, $5 is a pretty low price point compared to buying shelf juice.

I looked around on about 50 different sites and then looked up reviews. I thought about some other sites with better prices but I wanted to be able to one order equipment with it (beakers and such) and get free shipping. The other sites I was thinking about using shipping was going to be around $20. So after I used a coupon code for %15 off and got free shipping I didn't think it was too bad compared to the other sites. Now that I seem to have everything I'm gonna need will def check out these other sites and give them a try.

Start with adding small amount of flavor at a time and test it. I royally messed up a bunch of VG by adding too much flavor, ended up using most of the VG I had for one flavor to dilute it enough...
