Crunchberries by u/slimfrinky
submitted over 10 years ago by Germasiansensation

In search of a custardy Vape (while having the delicious Mothers Milk and Unicorn Milk in mind) I stumbled across this recipe in the Monthly Threads.

Immediately I had to try it out. Let me keep this thread short by saying, I already went through 100ml (70vg/30pg) of this - really easy to make and has a very rich flavor!

I felt like reposting his recipe because I want people to try that out and be as satisfied as me, this recipe deserves more justice! Thank you /u/slimfrinky!

Here his original Post:

Here is my Crunchberries recipe. Everyone who tried it says it tastes spot on like the cereal soaking in milk. Let me know what you think. All flavors are TFA, no steeping needed, but as always, steeping makes it better.

Strawberry (Ripe) 10%

Cheese Cake w Graham Crust 5%

Bavarian Cream 6%

French Vanilla 2%

Note: I tried this once at 50% of every Aroma, wasn't as satisfying as the original recipe

This is the recipe that made me realize I'll never have to buy premium juice again. It's fantastic. It's also really good with other fruits in place of the strawberry. So far I've tried TFA Juicy Peach @8%, TFA Blueberry Wild @8%, and FA Fuji @2% (needs a couple days for the apple to mellow). I plan on doing a dragonfruit/pear version next.

How was it with the juicy peach?

I'm kind of considering mixing this one up with no fruit at all actually, maybe add touch of caramel or similar.

It's great. I like it better than the original acutally.

A fruitless version might be really good too. I'm thinking a little TFA Butterscotch or caramel candy would be nice.

Thanks, I'll give it a try with the peach.

Hmmm just had a thought, maybe a little chocolate could work in it too.

Glad you like it guys. To be honest, it was a happy accident to discover this recipe. I'm so glad that such a small thing can bring happiness to so many. :-)

I'm vaping /u/deadnugent's version at the moment, very good.

8% TFA Strawberry Ripe

5% TFA cheesecake (graham crust)

5% TFA Bavarian cream

Glad you're digging this, I'm vaping (almost) exactly this right now... Full disclosure tho, it's not my recipe! I found it on here ages ago. Here's how I've been making it lately.

7% TFA Strawbery ripe

5% TFA Bavarian cream

5% TFA Cheesecake (graham crust)

1.5% TFA French vanilla

1.5% TFA Vanilla swirl

I've found that this version is a little creamier, maybe as a result of the vanillin in the vanilla swirl?

Vanilla swirl is nice for creaminess, for sure

Does the Cheesecake make it smell or taste like molded cheese? I just cannot get into that flavor at all.

I've never had that with cheesecake graham crust. I've heard that regular old tfa cheesecake has that effect but I've never used it.

For everyone saying "5% cheesecake graham seems awfully high"

It works wonderfully. It helps with the milky cereal notes immensely well here. You can try dropping it down, but you'll want to add some A.P (~1%). in there if you do so.

Just my 2 copper.

So even with my fear of 5% cheesecake with graham crust I had faith and made the recipe exactly as you had laid out. Long story short I have an order for 30ml of each flavor on its way(except the ap I ordered 8ml I can't see using 30ml in a year or two lol

I prefer my modified version over the original, but it's still wonderful in it's original inception. The french vanilla was much too forward for me, though it mellows somewhat after the first week. I've been trying to lower the percentages as much as possible, without affecting the taste. As it stands, it's very rich when dripping, but still excellent in a tank.

  • 8% TFA Strawberry Ripe

  • 5% TFA Bavarian Cream

  • 5% TFA Cheesecake Graham Crust

  • 2% TFA Vanilla Swirl

  • .5% TFA Acetyl Pyrazine

So I have cheesecake, and I have graham cracker clear. Would those work, and if so, what percentage?

5% cheesecake grahm crust seems really high. Was that supposed to be .5?

This french vanilla?

I love that recipe because back when it was posted none of the single flavor cereal flavors were not available. I still think this recipe has a better taste than tfa's berry crunch.

Can CAP Strawberry be substituted? Sadly I don't have vanilla swirl or french vanilla. Vanilla swirl is going to be in my next order for sure.

Also, the Cheesecake Graham crust is very strong to me in other recipes even under 5%. I've found it dominates. Same here?

Probably not, two very different strawberries tbh

For this recipe, no way. For a new version with cap strawberry instead? Fuck yeah

Are you adding nicotine?
