After spending money on house and premium juice, I decided to go the DIY route. So I was wondering what recipe did you make that made you say "I'll never buy juice again!"
9% TFA strawberries & cream I always have this simple mix to fall back on, and its never disappointed me :)
I tried it at 8-9-10-12%. Didn't care for it straight.
What if 11% was the ratio for you?!
Mind. Blown! I'm going to have to get out of bed and make this now and see if it is. You changed my sleep pattern. I'm blaming you tomorrow if I sleep through my alarm and get fired. You know this, right? You'll have that on your conscience. I hope you feel dat feeling of deep burning guilt for posting that.
Not sure if I'm adding to the conversation saying this, but it wasn't a particular flavor. It was the process. I enjoying the entire process of creating my own juice, going through trial and error, nailing something decent down, then tweaking it to make it something I really enjoy. Cost is obviously a large factor when it comes to DIY, but the entire process of tinkering, playing, and mixing flavors into something really good makes it all worth it to me.
Nana cream clone that evolved and placid clone.
Where is this recipe?
Cancun from Vape Game. Once me and a freind nailed it down It's pushed me to make more. I love it.
Cmon now, share your hard work ! lol, jk - but really, never had it.
Right after posting I knew I should have posted the recipe. I wonder who's downvoting me? meh. All TFA
- Papaya 5%
- Mango 4%
- Pineapple 3%
Also works well adding Peppermint at 1.3% going to try it with some kind of Rum and maybe a touch of vanilla as well.
For me it was a clone of Mothers Milk. I was disappointed with the real version because I thought it was lacking the strawberry note I was looking for. My version had more strawberry added and I haven't purchased any commercial juice since!
For me is was cloning my favorite ADV which was white shoal by lighthouse. It's a berry melon mix that is absolutely delicious. That and the fact that I was saving a TON of money. (I was blowing through 15ml a day through my subtank mini. )
This sounds right up my alley but I didn't find anything by searching here..any chance at a link or the recipe? Please and thank youuuu
Sure thing but I'm still playing with it. This is the first recipe I've posted. I'm calling this one "Dew Berry"
First try was: *Honeydew Melon CAP 5% *Raspberry CAP 5% *Cantaloupe TFA 5%
Very good but a bit too strong.
I'm now at version five. Much better IMHO but still messing with it. I just got in some back berry I want to try instead of the Rasp berry.
*Honeydew Melon CAP 3% *Raspberry CAP 2% *Cantaloupe TFA 3% *Strawberry ripe 3%

I don't think I'll ever be to the point where I won't buy juice ever again. There's way too many brilliant minds in the game to not see what they're up to. And some juice makers(looking at you /u/kiteincloud ) are such awesome people with awesome product that even if I made a perfect clone of their juice, I would still buy it instead.
I got into DIY because it sounded like a lot of fun. It's definitely been an enjoyable experience, and I love mixing up new batches and giving samples to my coworkers and friends. I love the process of dissecting a premium juice's flavor profile, and using that as a basis for a mix of your own. It's just a great time all around.
As for the recipe that made me really feel like I can make decent juice I would be happy vaping all the time, it's this:
Bikini Atoll
A nuclear explosion of tropical flavors!
-
1.5% CAP dragonfruit
-
2.5% TFA pineapple
-
2.5% TFA nectarine
-
.6% TFA ripe banana
-
.5% TFA red licorice
-
.25% TFA coconut
It's a sweet, tart vape with a firm body. It's not the world's most complex mix, and maybe some of the ingredients are vestigial, but I love it as is and don't want to do anything to the flavor profile.
I had a pretty poor history with DIY (both being impatient and poor mixing) and started to give up after a few months of vaping my flawed and crappy tasting juice. My AHA moment was when I got 1000ml of nic base from Nude and trying it out plain. I actually vape on that base about 95% of the time now. Cheap and naturally sweet.
It's not the one recipe that makes it for me. It's the options. I love having a wide variety of choices available without having to wait on shipping or driving 45 minutes to the nearest B&M to find something I like. Sure there's some trial and error, but really after my first week I felt pretty confident throwing together a simple batch to tide me over while I fuss with the finer points on more complex flavors.
My Nutella + a variation of Crunchberries in Cereal Milk. Those two will live forever in my heart.
Recipes?
Nutella
- Bavarian Cream @ 4%
- Bittersweet Chocolate @ 3%
- White Chocolate @ 3%
- Chocolate Hazelnut @ 4%
- English Toffee @ 1%
I called it my Nutella because it's so damn good, just like the real thing.
The Cereal Milk one is the:
- Strawberry (Ripe) @ 6%
- Berry Crunch @ 4%
- Graham Cracker @ 5%
- Bavarian Cream @ 6%
- Malted Milk @ 2%
Wish I could credit them but I've got a shitty memory.
My "I never have to buy again!" moment came when I started playing with Flavorah flavors. I was reading the reviews by /u/botboy141 and some other super helpful people (I'm sorry super helpful people that I have forgotten your names) and accidentally made a knockoff of one of my alltime fave vapes, Nectarcus, by Coil Vapes. Here's the recipe, which I have unhelpfully entitled Peach Puddin'
Vanilla Custard (FLV) 4%
Peach (FLV) 2%
This recipe works very well with other fruits too, such as Strawberry. Easy, minimal steep, and insanely good.
I have a really solid clone of Kentucky Bluegrass by ePipeMods. It's really good. I have to switch off it every couple days though, as I get desensitized to it.
Mind sharing? Love some of EPM's stuff. A solid Shire Malt clone would be amazing too. Brings back memories of 2 years ago when I first started vaping
I'll preface this by saying that I haven't tried the original and this side by side, so maybe "inspired" is better than clone. That said, this tastes pretty spot on from memory and is fantastic. My favorite tobacco for sure. I generally make it a 100ml at a time and it doesn't last as long as it should.
All Flavors TFA. I mix 60/40 VG/PG and 2mg/ml nic.
1% M-Type Tobacco
1% Western Tobacco
4% Blueberry Candy
8% Bueberry Xtra
Let me know what you think. It's a pretty good "shake and vape", especially for a tobacco, but does get a bit better after ~7 days. I'd like someone to compare it to the original, but I haven't bought premade juice in several months and don't think I ever will again. I'm pretty happy with this and a few other recipes I have. A bonus to this one, is that it isn't a coil killer like many other tobaccos.
My personal ITC vapes Spoon Licker OG clone:
CAP Cake: 6%
CAP Sweet Strawberry: 4%
TFA Strawberry Ripe: 4%
LA Cream Cheese Frosting: 2%
Its great by day 3, gets better and cakey-er over time
LOL, I've actually been working on a similar recipe for cloning spoonlicker OG, I loved that juice. This is my recipe so far, and it's pretty close imo (although it's been awhile since I last had the OG).
Cap Cake Batter- 6.5%
Cap Sweet Strawberry- 1.5%
Cap Vanilla Custard (V1)- 1.8%
Cap Marshmallow- 0.5%
TFA Cheesecake w/graham crust- 0.5%
Ha! That is close! I definitely recommend trying out the LA Cream Cheese Frosting, it has that secret ingredient element
I got into it for the savings (LOL). I got a few recipes I always seem to fall back on. My betty'ish clone; banana pudding; milk of the poppy; and a couple of others. I still tweak my main recipes every so often and probably too much. All in all I love DIY and probably will never buy another juice again.
I'm interested in the Betty Clone, but I am dying for a Banana Pudding recipe. Can you share?
