Hi, First post here. I've recently gotten more into diy and have a litre of MFS nicotine that's about a year old. It's a bit peppery and yellow. A litre can be bought for under $50 at a few places. Is Nude Nicotine worth $105 a litre? I would like to try some, but 2x the price seems a bit much.
I will never use Nude again. I started with Wizard labs and I went back. I have a 500ml bottle that's been sitting out for over 6 months and its clear as the day I got it. My 1l of nude that has been stored in a dark, dry container and at 50f is now a light shade of caramel and very peppery is only 2 months old. After I sent an email to Jake and getting zero response I feel Nude is not the company that should be getting my money.
They seem so unprofessional. The updates or emails they do post sound like some 20 year old kid is writing them. Also they are shutting down for a vape summit? What is that? I want to order a (potentially) deadly chemical from a professional lab not some kids that don't know how to craft a professional message.
I'll be trying Heartland or RTS this time around.
In my experience, Heartland's nic is not the same quality as Nude's. Heartland's is way more peppery, my experience with Nude's has been quite good... with basically no added flavor due to the nic. I haven't had the nicotine for very long though, so i'm not sure how well it will hold up. But so far, its exceeded my expectations.
It is weird, I havent looked or posted much here in a while, but 6 months ago you would have been innundated with responses defending Nude Nic, incuding ones from Jake him self.
it seems that not only has their customer service gone to shit, but their quality as wrll. My last nic purchase from them has already yellowed in just over a month. My first purchase from them almost a year ago was crystal clear for its entire use.
They got too big I think. I remember seing posts from him talking about shipping out 55 gallon orders. Im thinking that they got in with some pretty big guys and thats where their attention is focused now. Sucks to see.
Honestly I haven't had very good luck with nude nicotine. The one bottle I did get from them was peppery after about a month and a half while being stored in the fridge and seemed way too strong. I've had some vaperstek nic for about a month and a half now and it still tastes just as fresh as the day I got it and it seems like it is much closer to the 100 mg than the nude nic that i got. Definitely prefer it over nude nic.
I like Heartland Vapes, myself. I just got 2 more liters from them last week (50/50 mix) - very clear, no off or strong odors.
Their customer service is excellent - I've emailed them twice with questions and got a response within a couple hours each time.

I can't imagine any nic to still be good after a year, but I suppose I could be wrong. I've been using MFS nic for a while and haven't had any problems. I buy in smaller quantities and keep it in the freezer otherwise. All good so far. I have been tempted to spend ~$100/liter on VaperTek nic and Carolina Xtraction after hearing good things about both companies but have yet to order from them.
I think there are a lot of valid options out there. I personally have had experience with NicSelect. It was gifted to me (100mg/ml) and was not stored properly. It has a red tint to it and is not the best tasting.
I have also bought from Nude Nicotine. My experience has been good overall. No taste, no odor. I have also contacted their support for questions and such and got adequate responses in a timely manner. It has worked out for me I suppose.
I have also heard good things about VapersTek. Does BullCityVapor sell Vaperstek?
EDIT: Just looked on Bull City Vapor's website. They do indeed sell Vaperstek. Now if everyone will stop buying stuff from them and just let them restock that would be great...JEESH
Let's get me downvoted. I just bought from two companies. MFS; their Nic came in already oxidized to me. And NudeArmor. So far, 2 months stored in Fridge, no off taste or smell and no color. Not yet tested for nicotine strength. Just got my bromothymol blue indicator this week. Why the bash on Nudenicotine?
I started with wizard first order was great. 2nd order was peppery. Tried nude it was great 2nd order was not peppery but was almost there. Went back to wizard and its great. Shipping times for both companies is slower than what I would expect but can't really tell a big difference from either as far as quality. I'm wondering if the pepper comes from what season you order it in. Maybe its far worse ordering in the summer when they get hot in the back of the trucks carrying them.
I have some 100mg/ml from wizard labs that I bought over a year ago , normally I mix at 3mg/ml but decided to mix some up at 18mg/ml for those times when I only have time for 2 or 3 pulls . slightly yellowed (light straw), no off taste, just slightly peppery with no flavoring (I tested before adding flavoring so I would not waste flavors). this particular bottle of base has been badly stored for the last 6 months in the trunk of my car. (because I have a shit-ton in the freezer from panic buying whenever somebody says FDA or House Bill)
I've only ever ordered from Wizard Labs for Nicotine so take my comment with a grain of salt. That said, I've never had an issue with their Nic. The 60mg/ml bottle I have right now smells a little peppery but I get no harshness or bad flavor from it.
Bear in mind their shipping time can be a little long, but I live like 2 hours away so once it ships it's only about 2 days till I get it. I honestly can't recommend them enough for all your diy needs (if you're reading this WL, please start carrying FA flavors :) )
My first order with nude nicotine was great. Had it in 100% vg. Used it all in about 3 months. No change in color or taste. Left out the entire time in a dark room.
I got 250ml in today in PG instead because of the did you shake enough worry. I don't do max vg so to me it's no biggie. It also is easier to mix because it's thinner.
Hopefully the new shipment will be just as good as the first. I plan to freeze half and keep half out.
I do agree closing completely for a vape convention is a little odd for me. And releasing coupon codes for 20% off if u go to the convention is as well.
All the negative stuff I've been hearing does worry me. But I hear bad things about almost every nic supplier.
A few months ago everybody was talking about how good nude was and how it was worth the extra $$. Now I'm not so sure. I guess all I can do is try out different suppliers and form my own opinion.
