I was lurking the monthly clone request thread, and saw this one come up quite a bit. My recipe definitely needs work, but for throwing something together out of my modest collection of flavors, I don't think I did too badly! Without further ado-

1% MBV Caramel Candy- No idea who makes it. FW? TPA?

.7% LA Bavarian Cream

.3% LA Banana Cream - This one's a bit rowdy compared to the original when freshly mixed. Maybe steeping will calm it down.

.5% Acetyl Pyrazine(5%)

.5% LA Marshmallow
Initial tasting seems promising! It's not as sweet as the real deal, but the creamy, nutty, graham cracker-y taste is there, along with the banana. As a rule I'm hesitant to use sweetener, but perhaps to get this recipe where it belongs, I'll just have to bite the bullet and add some EM to the mix. The color is off as well, way too light. I suppose I could sub the graham cracker clear for graham cracker dark.
Any thoughts/suggestions are appreciated!
I feel as though a lot of "top-shelf" juice companies will add some sort of coloring to their juices, as whenever I make a juice that is damned close to a juice I've bought instore they are 3-4x as light. I just stopped paying attention to color all together and only judge my juices on taste. If the taste is a little light, then maybe they use more flavoring, but otherwise I would say don't worry about it.
I haven't used my graham cracker dark yet, but smelling it side by side with the graham cracker clear, they seem pretty similar, and it would definitely darken the juice up. Not saying your theory is invalid- it wouldn't surprise me if they used sneaky tricks like that to throw off other juice makers- but in this case, I think the substitution would simply change the color to something closer to the original without altering the taste.
Oh definitely! Like I said, just a feeling, and I've never had the juice you were referring to so I definitely wasn't trying to comment on this specific one. I'm sure that would help though, and I doubt they'd be different in any sense but the coloring if they're the same company and all. When I can pick up some graham cracker and whatnot I'm gonna try this out, sounds tasty!

Exactly. With cuttwoods million dollar labs and PhD chemists all they managed to do was clone a five pawns flavor and sell it for 3$ less. golf clap cuttwood.
