Marlboro Light - a recipe for those who are craving a smoke
submitted over 10 years ago by EnyawreklawMixologist
  • AM4A (INW) - 6%
  • ALMOND (FA) - 1%
  • Caramel (FA) - 1% (optional for a little added sweetness, I don't use this though)

Recommended at 50/50, and on a Kayfun at 1 ohm 15-16 watts. Recommended AT LEAST A 2 WEEK STEEP (this is just a recommendation, it taste great after a 1 week, but that 2 week really pulls it together)

I've been off cigarettes around 3 years now, yet my gf still smokes. My grandmother passed away last sunday and I've been really craving a smoke, especially since I smell it on my gf all the time. Though, I know my grandma wouldn't approve of me smoking, she always told me to stop and one of the reasons I quit. So I couldn't cave in and by another pack. I began to play with tobaccos recently and I NEEDED to find myself a clone of one of my leading vices, the Marlboro Light. I knew I needed something kind of ashy and light, yet hold a slight nuttiness and sweetness. So I came up with this recipe, and to me, it's pretty much dead on to the Light's I used to choke down. I could add a little Dirty Base to it to really give it that shit asshole taste but I decided to not go that far, as this recipe satisfies me enough. Also, vaping this out of a super tight draw like a kayfun, which to me mimics the draw of a cigarette, or an old school genny really brings home that cigarette feel and taste. I'm telling you, if you guys used to smoke Lights, mix this up as a back up so when in times of need, you don't throw all that hard work and clean time out the window, for some fucking corporation that wants to destroy what we've built.

edit: added steep time

Interesting. Please let me know if you ever make a 27 Blend =)

Ah yesss, the ol' 27. That is for sure going to be my next tobacco, thanks for the input. What kind of notes do you get from 27's, it's more woodsy and whiskey right? I haven't had one in years.

/r/cigarettes is a subreddit. Maybe they could help describe the flavor.

Awesome, I'm going to ask them. I kind of have this feeling they won't take too kindly to a "vaper", just from expereiences with smokers IRL but I'll take one for the team, as I wouldn't want any of us to buy a pack to just see what it tastes like. Thanks for the help homie

Seconded. Those are the only ones I still smoke, if I had eliquid that tasted like them I'd probably quit cigarettes altogether

Marlboro light? Do any flavor producers offer a cardboard concentrate?

... Sorry, couldn't resist.

Haha actually yeah, Dirty Base INW pretty much gives that cardboard, wet sock, asshole flavor. It's actually quite impressive

I second that! There are ways to make this work for you but Dirty sure tastes weird!

I try so hard to create cigarette type flavors but its been 4 years since ive had one so unfortunately most of my newbie friends hate my tobacco mixes lol.

I'm not gonna lie I have had some Camel Crushes (my cig of choice) in the past month or so (less than a pack the entire month) but I fell really bad when I did it each time. I guess I'm kinda pissed that my Kennedy's top cap is so tight that is unusable and I let my friend borrow my only other RDA.

I am not an "ash tray flavor" tobacco vaper, but I do prefer a good sweet pipe tobacco now and then. I smoked 2 PAD for many years, but can never find a cigarette flavor vape satisfying.

I have both of Flavorah's tobacco blends on order right now (Flue cured and Virginia). Both have gotten rave reviews on this subreddit and I am anxious to see if they scratch my tobacco itch.

So, even though the AM4A doesn't sound like my type of tobacco, it's good to see other people interested in tobacco flavors. I don't think I'll ever grow tired of them.

I might need to add some menthol to this. Any suggestions on that?
