I bought a few flavours last week, and set up 10ml batches of 5% for each; steeped them all for 2 days and set about testing them.
One of them was TFA Almond amaretto - 2 drops on my coils was enough to make me move on- tasted like piss and probably needs more steeping.
Between each test I was using 10% TFA- sweet strawberry to clear the cotton; this way I can at least tell the new flavours apart from each other.
After finishing my testing I settled down to a full saturation of my strawbs ADV. But accidentally dripped the amaretto- in order to counter this I burned some off and added as much strawberry mix as I could to try and wash that nasty pissaretto out.
However - whatever mix went on them coils tasted really good. its some blend of strawberry and amaretto that just punches you in the face with strawberry goodness.
Anyone had some similar success with the amaretto concentrate? I love the real stuff, but this mix didn't taste like that at all, it seemed to pair really well with the strawberry; pulling some much deeper tones out of it.

TLDR; TFA Amaretto=piss. TFA amaretto + TFA Sweet Strawberry = Gods piss.
Interesting, I actually have both flavors, so I have to try it. I use the TFA Almond Amaretto at low percentages, smells and tastes like peanut butter to me, but mellows out. I throw TFA Strawberry into most things, I don't really taste but I heard it was an emulsifier, and I guess it just adds a dimension and some sweetness.
I mixed some TFA Kiwi double and TFA Peanut butter the other day. After letting it steep for a week it turned out to be a decent flavor. It has a kick, but once your coils run dry you want to drip some more for some reason. I should make some right now so I don't run out haha
I accidentally stumbled on a dead on Crunchberries recipe.
Total freak accident. I mix by weight but I have a few bottles without spout caps, so I use glass droppers which go immediately into a cup with some water to rinse them when used.
So last week I was mixing up 8 test flavors and when I was done, the water in that cup smelled dead on like Crunchberries. So I took a sip and swished it around.
I worked backwards and was able to capture what went in there and about how much proportionally of each was left in the dropper.
I've got some work to do but my resulting test batch was pretty damn close.
Weirdest ingredient list ever for a cereal flavor, but it works.
The most fortuitous mixing accident I've ever had.

I will say that AP does weird things with some other flavors.
Its a shame you got down-voted man. Im curious to know (roughly) how many different ingredients you tend to average on when you try different recipe ideas. Ive been replicating a few flavours for a cheesecake mix as research for my own. Im getting close to an idea of what I want, but any experience you can share would be greatly appreciated.
