Here's a recipe I had that I discontinued in December. It's a pear pie a la mode, with emphasis on the pear and crust with just a kiss of ice cream.

5% FW Vanilla Bean Ice Cream
4% FW Cinnamon Roll
3.7% FW Pear
3% FW Pie Crust
1.9% FW Cinnamon
0.8% FW Brown Sugar
0.3% FA Pear
0.2% Cap French Vanilla v2
0.1% FA Cinnamon
1% Propylene Glycol

Color (fresh): Medium brown-orange
Color (steeped): Dark brown
Suggested Steep: 2-5 days, doesn't change much with long steeps
Tank Cracker: Maybe, but leaning on no
Intended Ratio: 30pg/70vg

Why 1% PG? - I like to make my flavor baselines on a multiple of 5, eg. 5%, 10%, 15%, 20%, 25%, and so on. It's added just so I can mix with volumes divisible by 2 (because 20% flavoring+PG) instead of volumes divisible by 1.9. So 6mL base for 30mL, 2mL base for 10mL, and so on. Removing the PG will not affect the recipe, you'll just have to work with multiples of 1.9 instead.

Why cinnamon roll? - FW Cinnamon Roll is hardly a cinnamon in my opinion, it's a slightly sweet syrupy flavor. It doesn't crack tanks as far as I know, so it's a good alternative to cinnamon proper, or to pad cinnamon so you don't have a tank cracker on your hands. As part of the crust component, it makes it slightly sweet and spiced.

While it didn't crack tanks in testing before release, it does contain a fair bit of cinnamon at 30pg/70vg, so vaper beware. If you're a FW fiend, you could remove the FA and Cap and add 0.2% to FW VBIC, 0.1% to FW Cinnamon, and 0.3% to FW Pear, they taste similar enough, just not quite as nuanced as the original recipe.

A little bit about the flavor for those curious: I wanted to make a pear pie since at the time pie was my specialty (since replaced by cheesecake as being my signature profile), and pear was an obvious choice since it's my favorite fruit to vape. I wanted to slim my inventory down a bit and had another pear already, so I chose which of the two was less popular to discontinue. It got high reviews for the five or six months it was available.

One of my favorite ingredients is FW Vanilla Bean Ice Cream, adding it to the existing pear pie base made it that much better. VBIC is a weak flavor, so even though it appears at 5% in this mix, it's very light in comparison. I'd say the forefront note is pear, followed by the multiple cinnamons involved. If I were to balance it ice cream:pear:cinnamon, it'd be 1:4:3 roughly. I like using FW a lot so it might be confusing the small amounts of FA and Cap, but they really do add to the mix. I started with strictly FW on this recipe, so you can see an "earlier version" by doing the substitutions I mentioned, but I do suggest trying it out as is.

Awesome, thanks for sharing this. I think its great when people share their recipes that they are no longer selling.

No problem! I try to wait a bit so as to not upset people who've bought and enjoyed it, but it's been half a year since a bottle was produced, so why not let everyone try it?
