How do you like working by weight?

Well I just started doing diy this week (after a few months of research and lurking here) so I don't have anything to compare it to but it's super easy. I even let my SO mix up a couple bottles and she got the hang of it instantly.

Big thanks to /u/Botboy141 for his guide.

I havent even gotten started yet, but I have burettes, probably overkill but I've had them, and they are sterile, just wondering if weight would be better.

I'd definitely recommend it. Especially considering all you really need is a $30 scale.

I'm a newb, only been doing this a couple months and I never post because.. I'm a newb. However, I did start out measuring by volume and then finally got around to reading the guide /u/Botboy141 so thoughtfully shared and I will never go back. You can try both if you want, but it's like the difference between digging a hole with a shovel and digging a hole with a teaspoon. ;)

Hey man, what's your strawberry hibiscus recipe?

Just mixed up the first version of it last night so it's still a work in progress but right now I've got:

  • Hibiscus (CAP) 5%
  • Sweet Strawberry (CAP) 3%
  • Strawberry Ripe ( TFA ) 3%

Loving the hibiscus though, is a really unique flavor.
