With the full knowledge of the mods here I have been developing some ideas and format for a new and improved wiki.
Firstly let me say that the current wiki is really good and contains some great info that should not disappear. However it also misses a bit of stuff that could be of value to beginners in particular IMPO.
Who am I? Nobody but I have spent many many many person hours reading DIY related stuff on many different forums and also have some mixing experience.
I am looking for some community members of varying knowledge/skill levels who may be interested in both offering constructive criticism but also potentially doing some actual contribution. There is a fair amount of work already done (but nowhere near complete) and it will require some reading and exploring but not necessarily a great deal of experience in order to effectively comment.
I am by no means an expert on any DIY subject and since the wiki is a community resource it would greatly benefit from the input and feedback of the community.
For the moment I thought that 2 or 3 beginners and 2 or 3 "intermediate or high level experience" DIY'ers would suffice. (I would hate to get bogged down with a trillion comments).
The beginners to see if the information adds to their knowledge and is not confusing and the more experienced DIY'ers to check for inaccuracies, omissions and potentially contribute. No obligation to continue either.
How to select those I have no idea (well any random beginners would do). So if you feel you would like to help and possibly have something to contribute please comment.
If you do get into building a wiki, keep in mind that you can't delete pages once they're made. You can remove the content, but those pages will always be visible via wiki/pages. I learned that from when I moved /r/vapeheads to the wiki.
If this takes off and the mods need any help with CSS, I can do that sort of thing.
Thanks for the input. I'll keep that in mind. I have actually already begun the wiki building process. Sadly there hasn't thus far been a great response from DIY_eJuice in terms of people willing to even check out what's going on, let alone assist.
I will however keep working on stuff...at the very least it's helping me gain knowledge. Had a quick look at /r/vapeheads too...you sure put in a lot of work there.
/r/vapeheads started mainly to save us in the chat room from having to copy and paste the same information. For anything I couldn't write on myself, I found people who knew it and wrote from there. /u/nigelkf wrote most of the DIY text and I've been adding links as I come across them.
If you don't get much of a response from here, we can always work with /r/vapeheads. Stop by the chat (listed in the sidebar of /r/vapeheads) sometime. I'm tomflint in there.
I honestly don't know where the diy ejuice wiki is unless I missed it in the side bar.
A very good resource to add if it isn't already there is the tfa component list.

Thanks to those who responded but Wow...What an underwhelming response. Maybe I worded it wrong or something. Oh well I guess I'll just keep doing what I'm doing then. At the very least it's improving my knowledge.
If anyone decides they might want to do something with the wiki by all means comment. I'll watch this thread for a while at least.
