A huge thank you to /u/redbic for organizing the Bombies style bottles group buy.

My package arrived the other day and since I never ordered any juice from Bombies, this is my first experience with these bottles. I was drawn to the twist style cap. I've only used them for a couple of days but so far no leaking from any of the bottles.

Prior to this I've only used the 10 and 30ml bottles from Wizard Labs, the 15 and 30ml bottles from Mount Baker, and the 15, 30, and 60ml Boston style glass bottles with eye dropper. The plastic bottles from Wizard and Baker have a tiny neck which makes adding VG a pain. The glass bottles have a wider neck but tend to leak. The Bombies bottles have a wide neck which makes adding ingredients much easier. Here is a picture of a 30ml Mount Baker bottle and a Bombies bottle side by side for comparison:

I feel it's worth noting that these bottles hold a bit more than 30ml. I suspect closer to 35 or 36ml but I haven't measured it out. This picture shows the bottle filled to 30ml to give you an idea.

I personally like the extra space as it gives me room to shake thoroughly.

I'm pretty much out of extra bottles now but I may do another GB soon. I don't think I got enough for my needs, lol.

I should have jumped on some 120mL bottles when I had the chance... my turret bottles leak like a disgruntled staffer.

That's perfect, 8-12 would be great. I'm going to need until the beginning of the week to have internet moniez but what do you prefer: PP, dwolla, wallet? ~~I think I can do apple pay too but I don't apple, I'd have to check with my lady.~~ she doesn't think so

Thanks guys! I'm glad you're all as happy as I am. I'm in love with these bottles and don't see myself going back to the "standard" style I used to use. If anybody wants to buy ~50 of the "Mt Baker Style" bottles I'll cut you a good deal :P

I may do another group buy soon. Unfortunately I'm pretty much out of extra bottles and wishing I would've ordered more for myself, haha.

They look like good bottles! I also prefer the bottles with extra room for shaking and so they can breathe a little. Helps with flavors that contain alcohol.

I was going to do the group buy but I realized I can get them for a decent bit cheaper through one of the suppliers I deal with at work. Lucky there.

Just dropping in to say thanks to redbic. The bottles came super fast and are indeed "bombies" style. I'm very happy I took part in the group buy. I will definitely be looking for another group buy for them in the future!

Yep, I also received my bottles today. I'm a little hesitant to heat them too much though, even though they're LDPE. Thank you OP for the 30mL pic, and thank you /r/redbic for making my first group buy absolutely painless!

Anyone know how much extra the 60s hold, if at all?

Edit:

60s top off close to the start of the curve in the bottle. Should be able to hold 70 mL I think.

I use a 60ml for PG so I dumped it, tared the empty bottle and filled it pretty much to the top of the neck. Got 71.28g. PG is pretty close to 1g=1ml so just a tad over 70 to the top.

It's the American Weigh Scales LB-501 Digital Kitchen Scale, highly recommended scale when mixing by weight. I have one and I love it!

Dervie is 100% correct. Best scale for the money. A lot of DIYers use it. The 0.01 grams float a bit on mine. But to get one much better you'll pay x5 - x10 the money.

Thanks for the recommendation. I have a 500g scale now. Is that the one you'd recommend? Or maybe step it up to 1000g? Edit: Guess I'll stick with the 500g since it's the only one that reads to the .01g.

got mine too

made a 100ml batch of Grandmaster(my Fav)

poured them into a 60 and a 30 ml bottle and was going to put the rest in a 15 ml and didnt need to, the 100 ml fit into to 90 ml worth of bottles
