Hobbes Blood Clone :D

Ok. This is what I got.

TFA Strawberry (not ripe) 7% TFA Coconut Extra 1% FA Watermelon 3% TFA Marshmellow 2% TFA Honeydew 1% TFA Smooth 5 drops per 15ml

After trying every Watermelon imaginable, Flavour Art´s is the closest one to Hobbes Blood. I just mixed and the flavor is 95% there. I need to try it after steeping.

If anyone is still trying to clone this, please give me your opinion.

Oo ooo try to put a little dragon fruit in it. I swear the smell of that reminds me of Hobbes blood. I wish I had some of that FA watermelon and I'd try this.

I know this is an older post but I felt like I had to contribute to it one way or another. OP you are on the right track but if memory serves me correctly I read somewhere that there was a possibility of 9 flavors that make up Vapor Chef's Hobbes Blood. I don't know how true that is but that could be why it's been so hard to clone. I have been trying to nail this recipe since I started DIY over a year ago. I too have tried just about every watermelon flavor I could find with the exception of Silver Cloud Estates flavorings which the Chef has been know to use. I ordered FA Watermelon based on your recommendation and I think you are on to something. After countless tries and failures I think I have made something worthy of posting.

Strawberry (TFA) 6%
Watermelon (FA) 3%
Watermelon (TFA) 3%
Coconut Candy (TFA) 0.9%
Dragonfruit (TFA) 0.75%
Honeydew (TFA) 0.3%
Smooth (TFA) 0.25%

I have let a few friends that love Hobbes Blood try the mix and they say it's damn near spot on. I personally think it's very close but there is always room for improvement. Right now I'm vaping on a batch that is un-steeped and not even a day old and it's very delicious. Give it a try and let me know what you think.

Need to order up some FA watermelon. I tried TFA in the past and it didnt do it for me. Try dragonfruit in place of the honeydew.

Kind of off topic, but hobbes blood used to be my go to juice. Got some ford perfect in my last hobbes blood order and OMG that stuff is awesome. Not overly sweet like other banana flavors out there

Just tried the ford too it's definitely fa banana and I want to say a mix of Vienna and fresh cream, its delicious though.

Try CAP Double Watermelon. I've tried a ton of watermelon juices, but I've only found one or two I really enjoyed. I asked the guy who makes it what he uses, and he said the primary watermelon was CAP Double.

I remember reading here that Vaporchef has specified that it has 3 watermelons. So far- I agree that the dominant flavors are FA and TFA watermelon- and the 3rd melon could be honeydew I suppose...

Ive tried several watermelons. IMO Flavour Art has that "bite" only hobbes blood. Using tfa makes a good tigers blood, but not hobbes blood

Awesome, thanks for the info. I have been looking for a decent Hobbes Blood clone without much luck at all. I love the Chef but 50 cents per ml is just too rich for me anymore. A while back using a protank it was fine, but dripping has totally destroyed my juice economics over the last year.
