Cereal Milk base almost complete
submitted over 10 years ago by EnyawreklawMixologist

Been working on cereal's for some time now. Even had a few people ask to help. I'm about 85% there, just waiting on a couple more flavors to come in. I'm probably going to have a solid recipe by next week for you guys. From my research and testing, it's not a lot of flavorings. I've found that I've been using way too many flavors in total and out flavoring it. The milk is really easy to overpower and just adding more milk and dropping other flavors tends to wipe out all the flavors. There's a super fine line between sweet cereal milk and creamy lemony citrus. And that's the biggest issue I'm coming into. It's probably going to end up being a 5 flavor recipe at around 10% flavor. I'm thinking FA Bergamot and a little FA Orange and maybe some FA Lemon Cicily will add the citrus tones needed to the milk to give it that sweetness that's missing. Again I'm going for more of a Breakfast at Teleo's The Milk type flavor and not no much a Cereal Killa or Aisle 7 Nora Dream. If I do knock this out I will be selling this under my line and would appreciate that if you're going to make it that you do it for personal consumption. Make it for yourself, give to your friends, do whatever you want just don't be an ass and try selling it under your labeling for the work I put in. With that being said I hope everyone will love it because I know how hard it is to make a cereal especially the lack of good recipes. I hope people can take it and put there own spins on it. A Cereal Milk Ice Cream bar, like from MOMOFUKU would be amazing!

Edit: Thanks for all the support. I hope I can deliver! Here's a quick recipe to hold y'all fiends over

PREACHERS & DREAMS

  • Peach (TFA) - 2%
  • Banana Cream (TFA or LA) - 2%
  • Coconut Extra (TFA) - 1%
  • Meringue (FA) - 1.5%
  • Milk (TFA) - 1%
  • Bav Cream (TFA) - 2%
  • Sweetner - 0.5%

I like it at 80vg/20pg and I make all my juice at 4mg nic to ensure smoothness with slight kick. Another flavor I'm sellin btw. If you want more Banana you can kick it up to 3% or drop peach down to 1%. But otherwise this is more peach heavy so I wouldn't touch the % on that. If anything you can lower it and add whatever else you'd like. A touch of Koolada gives it a smoothie taste. Great shake and vape but I would steep at least a couple days.

FA bergamot is pretty essential imo, but is incredibly potent and easy to overdo. I'm down to 0.5% in my cereal mix, and it is still one of the dominant flavors.

I have FA bergamot in my arsenal but what exactly is this flavor? I know that is a stupid question but if you had to, what would you compare it to? What does it add to the recipe?

According to ECX's description: Looking for a citrus flavor that screams luxury? With a little more bitterness than grapefruit and a little more sourness than lemon, Bergamot is the way to go! Add a touch of this uncommon yet satisfying flavor to your DIY e-liquid recipe to surprise your fruit-loving friends. Want to spice it up even further? Try mixing Bergamot flavor with spice or citrus flavors.

> bergamot

It's a type of orange.

Spicy orange peel, with a bit of blood orange in there. It is somewhat bitter, and can add an interesting dimension to juices when used sparingly.

Yeah it's really no problem. I just really want a cereal vape I don't have to pay an arm and a leg for to be honest and I know many others feel the same. I just hope I can deliver!

You shall deliver! I haven't even tried to make my own cereal vape yet, been working on an apple pie. Which is hard to get certain aspects of it to stand out without becoming all muddled together.

Godspeed friend.

a good way to separate fruits is to use a little lemon, or something acidic. Anytime I have more than 3 fruits I like to use a bit of FA lemon cicily to split them up. The reason why I want to use it in my cereal flavor because there's a lot going on in it and I want to be able to distinguish each note. Good luck homie

I didn't have all the flavors for the recipe you posted, so I played with it a bit.

  • Juicy Peach (TFA) - 2%
  • DX Banana Cream (TFA) - 1%
  • Coconut Extra (TFA) - 0.5%
  • Berry Crunch (TFA) - 2%
  • Lemon Meringue Pie (CAP) - 1.5%

Forgot to put Bav Cream in, but this may be my new ADV for a while. Thanks for posting!

Right on man, this looks pretty good. Usually when I make a flavor, I like to look at the real ingredients of the item. Anytime it calls for butter I like use Bav Cream, or Butterscotch to add a little depth. Say a real food recipe calls for Sugar, I'll use Brown Sugar or Marshmallow or Sweetener depending on what kind of treat it is. Bakery's usually get Brown Sugar. Just something to ponder about.

Awesome can't wait to steal it and try to outsell you! Jk ofc haha.

I'm gonna be putting in the same amount of work on a milk and Honey flavor as soon as my next flavor orders get here (minus the selling part). Do you have any experience with just a milk flavor minus the cereal aspect? What I have in mind is milk and honey with slight citrus/Orange undertones to give it an Orange blossom honey kind of taste so I might be able to utilize your recipe to some extent.

Well certain creams turn into different things depending on what other flavors are in it. For a milk and honey I would try playing around with FA Fresh Cream at 1% and Meringue at 2% and build from there. But if you find you're getting too much of a creamy flavor and less milky, you may want to try different combos. Milkyness is pretty hard to nail down like I said, it's just super finicky

Searching this sub looking for recipes because I just ordered a bunch of flavors. A couple substitution questions on that peach recipe if you wouldn't mind answering. I'll have tfa juicy peach and flavorah peach, no milk but other creams and such at my disposal. Any thoughts?
